These white on white flowers in a vase are just gorgeous Chrissie, and the texture of the cut out squares on the slim panel makes a great backdrop for the them, and given dimension using a ball tool, and the silver embossed sympathy is perfect. I love the rounded corners to the die cut strip too...a totally beautiful and elegant card! x
Lovely lovely lovely, thank you for all the ideas and tips! And we like hearing about your life, too and are glad Phil is doing better. Takes a bit of a load off you, eh? We worry so about our loved ones. Anyway, gorgeous card, glue stick over tape idea is awesome and so helpful!
White on white is always elegant and classy. Some one did indeed "take a bit of trouble with that!" At my age, I'm often in need of a Sympathy card, so I should make half a dozen of this style card to have in my 'just in case' stash. Thanks, as always for sharing your talent with us. 🤍🤍🤍
Hi, A very elegant looking card white on white. I'm gonna use this idea for a wedding card. Tfs. All the best to you and a speedy recovery to your husband. Sherry from Canada 🇨🇦.
wow, 😊those holes made such a difference, so clever, im glad your husband got to go shopping with you, precious memories. So goid of you to fit us in as well wfen you can.
Lovely card, so simple, but elegant. Glad Mr Chris is still improving. I suffer from fibromyalgia & M E, so I can sympathise with how frustrating it is when you want to do something, but it's so tiring to your body. He's just going to have to take it one step at a time. Rest often, improve quicker! HE MUST listen to his body. Much love to you both. 🥰🥰🥰
This is just lovely! The added texture in using the linen card adds even more elegance. 👍 I'm glad that Mr. Stokes was able to get a bit of exercise and fresh air to aid in his recovery. I'm sure he's looking forward to the day he can return to his normal routine. He'll just have to remind himself that anything worthwhile takes time. 🩷
Oh favourite, white on white and perfect sentiment for this beautiful card. Love it Christine. Great to hear Phil is doing better,, just frustrating - the brain says you can and the body says you cant't! Hugs to you both and thank you xx
Beautiful card as always Christine. You are so talented, I love watching you create your cards you have such an elegant style. Good to hear your husband is progressing, slow and steady is the best way to recover. Thank you so much. Love and best wishes to you both 😘
Oh so pretty ! Plain and simple is my favorite of your designs. That is what caught my eye about what you do. Hope your husband recovers from his shopping expedition. Fondly, Peggy in MD
Hi Christine. The simple act of the glue stick on foam strips that you taught me has saved my sanity. Beautiful card, love white on white cards. Thank you
So Posh!!! This is 1 of the many reasons why I fell in♥️ with your cards Ms. Chrissie!!! I’m so chuffed to hear Mr. Stokes is getting better daily. Cheers!!!
Quite a lovely card, Christine! White on white is so elegant. Hope hubby continues to recover so he can enjoy his grocery shopping again! I always liked that too!
Hi Christine. I am delighted to hear your husband is on the mend. What an elegant card. I also like the look of white on a cream background. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
A white on white card is just gorgeous to me. I love how simplistic this one is but yet it is so elegant and looks like you went to a whole lot of trouble making it. i just love these cut out border dies since I got mine, they are the perfect touch when you need that little something, something. Just gorgeous. I'm sure hubby was played out after a trip to the store together. Takes a while to get that stamina back after an infection. Sickness just drains the body. I struggle with autoimmune issues, some days are great, others are not. We do the best we can, eh?! Prayers to hubby, he will get there in time and hopefully he will stay healthy. Hugs, Brenda
I absolutely love this card! I always feel like I’m watching a masterclass on elegant simplicity when I watch you! Thank you so much for sharing your heART with us! 😊
I can very rarely get him anywhere near a clothes shop, I have to buy his clothes, then take them back if they're no good, but he loves to do grocery shopping!🤣🤣
Thanks, Chrissie. With the Aussie dollar the way it is, I find it difficult to purchase from Craftstash. It's just too expensive to purchase from overseas at the moment. Will see if it's available in Australia. 😊
Absolutely beautiful AND you've given me an idea for my sisters' birthday cards. Thanks so much. My daughter's birthday is mid-month and I've been contemplating what I was doing for her card this year and somehow I totally forgot my two sisters' birthday! (They're twins.) I don't really know how that could happen as it's the day before my daughter's BUT I guess my age is showing. I do have plenty of time still but I better get crackin'! Glad to hear your husband's slowly but surely recovering.
May you do have an artist's eye. It all comes together with simplistic beauty. Love that border die and how you often use it. Glad to hear Phil is venturing out, no matter how short a trip. Thank you.
Sore you taking out the little bits at the start and thought where's Christine little desk hover have not seen you use it for some time. Great card so simple. Glad to know Phil's home.
It's by the side of my desk, but I don't know what I did to it, but it started flinging tiny bits out of the side vents. I'll have to try again with it!🤣🤣🤣
Yes, the vase definitely grounded the floral bits and the stamped sentiment was more compatible with the die cut arrangement than adding another die cut. Lovely and definitely elegant.
Beautiful card! FYI, I have had to resubscribe to your channel multiple times without having unsubscribed. I just sent UA-cam some feedback asking them to look into the issue.
Love the white on white 😂cards. Glad to hear Phil is on the mend. My husband and I have reached the age where our social life has become going to tests and doctor’s appointments. These are supposed to be our “Golden Years”?
@@Chrissieannie never mind the shopping , we’d leave it where it stood and rush back to my house for you to give me some tips on how to use my ever expanding stock. I’d give a coffee as well of course or depending on the time of day a little apéritif 🙂🥂
I don’t know that I would think of using a “border” die as a way to add interest to the middle of a card. I think you have a very open mind when it comes to designing cards and that’s how you see possibilities that many would probably miss. This white on white look is very elegant. I think they would be beautiful colored as well but I think the white is definitely more elegant. Glad Phil is feeling better, healing does take a lot of energy from your body, but I think him wanting to go out and about is a good sign. 💕
Beautiful card as always Chris....Could i ask what glue you use & did it come with the fine tip....I've been looking for these tips without any luck...Glad to hear your husband is making progress ....Thanks Kim xx
Beautiful card Chris. And I absolutely love watching all your videos. Could you please let me know the size of your foam tape. I know since I'm in the USA I would not be able to get what you have but I love the large size of the reel.
@@Chrissieannie Sorry, didn't realize that was there. Thank you for responding. Still would love to purchase similar foam tape as you use. I tried to convert your measurements into inches for USA and couldn't. Any help you could give me would be terrific.
