I am so happy I watched you do this again. I tied one with GSS fiber and some fiber and it had what I consider a huge head! You have to remember most of my flies are 14 - 26 so I tie mostly very small flies. I decided to go bass fishin this weekend and I have plenty of bass lures but none I tied myself. I didn't like it until I tied in the eyes, and it looked remarkably like yours. So I guess the head wasn't so big after all. Let you know what happens. All the best, thanks for sharing, Sean
Thx for supplying the recipe in the video. Could you also supply it in the notes? Would be easier for someone to cut and paste it. Thx again for a great video!
I know that DeerCreek has it but I haven't seen anyone here carrying it. It is just Fake costume ,wig hair. I found several different color on ebay. Just search wig or costume hair. Then you just need to add angel hair to it. Youd be surprised at how cheap it is.
Hi Enrique, Yes the UV resin dries instantly using the UV Light. The best thing about Deer Creek UV resin is that it is 100% tack free. ( No Sticky) You can get this from Castersonlineflyshop Jim
Hi Josh, You can wrap lead to the hook if you want to get it down faster. You can also use a sink tip or full sinking line with a short leader. I use this as is it has more weight or sinkability then you would think. Also I do a lot of fishing at night with this fly when the fish are in close to shore feeding. Jim

Enjoyed that one. Going to try tying a few of those up. See how they turn out. Great video!
I caught a rather large Walleye on this fly, night fishing on Lake Wallenpaupac in Pike County Pa.
I will have to try some of this fiber. I like the wide profile it creates, much like the naturals it imitates.
Thanks again for the video.
Jim that is an awesome fly. I definitely have to add that to me arsenal.
fantastic flie going to tie one but a smaller version for perch
Always nice job Jim !!
Im going to start doing some fly tying videos
Well done fly tyer!

I caught a six pound walleye night fishing with this fly. I was casting to shorelines for stripped bass.
Thank god there is no crazy music!
Thanks for posting sir!
Your very welcome, this past summer I took a 6.5lb walleye night fishing on this fly.
Nice fly.thanks.
Really nice looking bait fly! Just curious what size gator eyes did you use? Thanks for your awesome tutorials!
+Stryker 2 These were 5 or 6 mm it all depends on what you are feeling like when you tie the fly.
Can one get Gliss and Glint in the US? Or more specifically, are there Deer Creek distributors in the US? Thanks! Good looking bug!

Nice one Jim.
Have you ever tied a Blueback- Herring.
Do you ever tie these type patterns with deer hair?
+fshng2fish You can tie these with deer hair but you won't get the same fullness to the body. It's best to use the Deer Creek.
I Will try try this
Why the bead stringing wire, antifouling?
Both anti-fouling and anti weeds. It is just stiffer then mono.
Hi, Mr. Jim. That rtesin dries instantly with UV light?

Am trying to replicate the ciscos in Ft. Peck on the Missouri (MT). I think this is an excellent pattern to base it on. Thanks!!.
hey Jim how do you get weightless flies like this down? sinking line?

Jim
I usually use sinking poly leaders to get them down.
I use straight mono 10lb. I sinks rather quickly.
Nice !
good streamer!
what is this material?
thanks!
+Jessica Campanholi This material is DeerCreek Gliss-N-Glint AKA fake wig hair.
