i tyed a few of these a year ago.. just to make sure the colours did not come off due to salt water.. i sprayed them with clear spray lacquer.. worked great..vey nice and easy fly to tie.. thank you
@The feather bender Hello Barry another question about the seabass herring tube if you fish this under a floating bombarda do you have to add a piece of lead when you find it or is the tube heavy enough to be able to fish it in slowly and maybe you could show that in a video how you can fish a tube fly weighted equal to this one I fish this kind of tube or red gill,s under the bombarda, but often you have to add a lead shot because the tube does not come under the water surface, especially when you fish in places where it flows hard regards Willem
Hi Willem, you can use either shot in the body or foam, depending on what you would like it to do. As it is in the video it fishes fine a little under the surface.
