+Yaco Ale blizzard can try to make HS a competitive game as much as they want, but this type of cards are what makes HS way more fun than just climbing ladder. Yes I also like to grind the ladder to get as high as possible each month, but I absolutely love fun and theorycraft decks

Yogg is about as effective as Majordomo Executus but he's so fun to play no one minds.

+Xqwzts Honestly, he's no where near as bad. He's not a good minion to drop when you're ahead, but when you're behind or there's not a lot on the board, he will be a huge boost for you far more than he will be bad.

Everytime I've faced Yogg so far, I was on the verge of winning and then he's come in and turned things around.

I had a game vs. Yogg Saron.
Yogg Gang-Up'ed himself after clearing the rest of the board. Guy played it total of three times.
On last play, Yogg healed me to full and milled the guy to minus 8.
It was pretty epic.
+Livthru this expansion is by far the most fun i have ever had in hearthstone. Kinda disappointed that there is no new adventure. but standard makes up for it. And Free C'thun.
well, If blizzard stays on schedule they will prolly release an adventure in about 4 months.

I had a game where Yogg gave me Beneath the Grounds and then next turn the opponent dropped Reno, immediately conceding upon noticing his mistake. 10/10 would craft again.
I like Yogg but I didn't open him. I figured, if Yogg chose me by being in one of my packs, he would grant me with his blessing of good rng. Crafting him would just be a curse.
+Bray Jay I got a golden Yogg and a normal Yogg, in my first game played with my Yogg deck i didn't see my Yogg, but the turn before I was going to die i unstable portalled into Yogg which then won the game. I am the favoured of Yogg.
So happy this is the first Old Gods featured video. I'm loving my Priest Yogg deck. I'll have to try Mage.

They call him "Hope's End" for a reason; when you've got no hope of stabalizing or winning by any other means, THAT is when you play him.. :P
Not really to that extent, but i find him better when your enemy is winning in terms of board presence, it tends to even things out... Also, you should attack BEFORE using him.
Yogg-Saron has extended my life (real life) through producing Trolden-levels of rediculous laughter.

I am so happy I got this guy as my first Legendary. I'll probably never see any serious play out of him, but I'm sure gonna have a blast goofin around with a Yogg Mage deck.
Man, having seen Yogg in action, he's basically the Majordomo of this expansion: a potentially game ending power when you set it up just right or get unbelievably lucky but with an incredibly high, pretty much guaranteed, fail potential.
One time I was up against a druid. He had a Ragnaros, an Alexstrasza and a Doomcaller. I played Yogg-Saron with 8 spells already played, and it froze the Alexstrasza, emtombed the Ragnaros, summoned a 3/2 panther, ganged up the Yogg-Saron, Whirlwinded, then Circled, then Concealed.

I have Yogg too. and its a complete chaotic card strategy but works well for mage when you pack spells. I love this spellcasting build.

On top of that: if your *C'thun* (with 17/17 for example) is silenced, it not only can still be buffed on the board but numbers are still gonna keep on stacking with C'thun popping up in his cloud so let's say your 17/17 *C'thun* is silenced by the enemy, you summon *Beckoner of Evil* , make *C'thun* return to your hand and when you summon him next time he's gonna have 19/19. Also another fun fact: If *C'thun* died (at least that's how it happened in one of my matches), *Doomcaller* will both put a new C'thun into your deck AND buff him for +2/+2, but still continue from where was left off, it's the same thing with the silence i mentioned earlier :3
Think it's good that way, wouldn't say it's incredibly op but it's defenetely one of the best cards to build a deck around, really liking WoTOG so far :)
Yogg is the greatest Hail Mary play I have ever seen, I was at 4 life against a pally with overwhelming advantage. Cast yog, who got a vanish off, then did tons of face damage, next turn did a bunch of face damage casting curse of rafaam. (S)He died at the start of his turn from curse. I will be running him in every deck for when I am just overwhelmed.
+Jeremy Leyland I was in a similar situation against a shaman, with only 2-3 PV against a full board. I played Yogg-Saron and he proceeded to clean the enemy board, cast tree of life, give me 3 secrets and call the wild. of course i won.
You should've shown that game where your opponent's Yogg gave him an insane board just to play Doom after all of it. That was hilarious xD

Mirror Entity/Mindcontrol effects on a Yogg summon have the same interaction; if the opponent gains a Yogg onto their side of the board during your Yogg casting spells, they will get the battlecry effect as well. Had that happen in one of my games. (He used Yogg which triggered my Mirror Entity, and my Yogg cast the spells after his effect finished).
I played with my reno rogue against a mage who had 2 hp left and iceblock activated. He had lethal next turn. My Yogg gave him Curse of Rafaam :)
I have had some amazing fun games Winning! with Yogg-saron, even pulling several attempts with Bran on the field. One thing I noticed in every game Yogg cast shadowstep, it didn't matter how many minions were on the board it always returned him to my hand.

I played with a Yogg mage deck of my own (basically a spell-focused Reno deck I was using) today and ended a few games with Brann + Yogg Saron. Never had so much fun in Hearth Stone
One game he cast corruption then ancestral recall on himself, sheeps the 18/18 ennemy C'thun, draws me a full hand and mills my druid opponent to death before totally clearing the board of all that flies, walk or crawl on Azeroth \o/

I made a mage tempo deck with Yogg in it and went from 15 to 8 on the first night. You can play a control game and a tempo game at the same time, especially with the new cabalist tome.
I can't believe you didn't include the Yogg that Helten had. He had a full board of minions then destroyed them all with DOOM. I laughed so hard
The 40 minute or so yogg was basically a 10 mana life tap clear your board.

Even though I don't have that card, I love it! I've had it summon on me twice already and it's absolutely nuts! It can completely turn a game around for either person.
My opponent played Yogg and he Ganged up himself twice, it was pure hell for me.

I made my own Yogg-Mage deck, and found out when Sylvanas is on the board for your opponent, she steals Yogg if she dies first, and from there the rest of the spells go off as if THEY casted Yogg. It was AWESOMELY hilarious. And I won because I already had him down to 8, and the spells pretty much doomed him. All 20 of them. Well, about half of those. So maybe 10 or so. Lol.
Best expansion ever! I don't think they even needed to make Standard Yogg Saron and C'thun can hold its own in wild.
I made a Priest Summoning Stone deck with Yogg-Sarron. It is wonderful.

Hey guys how is it going, Kripparian here. So after an amazing first night in Whispers of the Old Gods I got A TON of clips, a ton of amazing experiences. I can't really say; I can't really speak on like the balance of things, the details on things, but I can say one thing for absolute sure, for absolute certainty; the expansion provides some AMAZING experiences, specially at the time where people don't know what they're doing and I mostly want to share with you guys this experience, the best ranked experience you will ever get while playing hearthstone. Today I want to highlight a lot of my first few "adventures" on ranked ladder I think this is among the first like 6 or 7 games I've ever played in ranked in Whispers of the Old Gods and I did so with a community-inspired, a chat-inspired mage Yogg-Saron deck. Umm... people just really wanted to see how cool and how this card works in practice, um y'know there's been a lot of talk about I've reviewed the card in the past as much depth as I could, but It did not really prepare for the reality of what happens when you play this card. So, I hope you guys enjoy the clips to come, I hope you guys gain-or.. or lose; probably lose some appreciation for Yogg-Saron and do not miss these first few days of Whispers of the Old Gods, this is the best time to play hearthstone, check it out, hope you guys enjoy the video, and I'll see you guys tomorrow.

The trick with yogg saron is to not play him too close to fatigue, otherwise he will most likely wreck you. There are tons of spells with card draw.

My first experience with Yogg was adding taunt to both my opponents minions,turning itself into a boar,killing itself and then fireballing my face.

I played my Yogg deck against a dragon priest who dropped the new deathwing on me while i was at 2 health. My Yogg Mind Controlled his deathwing, used call of the wild, and wiped the rest of his board, it then gave my new deathwing windfury and divine shield, then i got healed for 8. I won and it was literally my happiest moment in hearthstone.
Made a Miracle Yogg Rogue deck. Works pretty well, apart from the randomness with Yogg of course. Was at 1 HP against a mid range-ish hunter earlier. I play Yogg, he buffs himself and also gets taunt, I get 6 armor but then Yogg casts Holy Wrath targeting my face and I top deck the only card that kills me: Sprint. Fun times.
+Sdesser Watch out for Mill Rogue's. Shadowcaster on Brann gets two 1/1 Brann's and combo those with Coldlight Oracle. That deck is super scary.
+Hypervalence Having more than one Brann on the board doesn't do anything. Brann makes your battlecries trigger twice, not for an additional time. I've tested it. Had 3 Brann and played 4 Nightblades. They only triggered twice. :)

I saw some funny stuff with Yogg, and he actually beat me when there was no chance of me losing at times. One time my opponent summoned him, Yogg Divine Spirited himself, Inner Raged himself, then he used Nourish which made the player burn a bunch of cards, he Polymorphed, Mortal Coiled himself out of the game and made the player burn another card, THEN he used Stand Against the Darkness, and, finally, used Everyfin is Awesome on all of the Recruits. Needless to say, I lost.
Skip the Krip WHERE ART THOU
