I told my sons beginning in their middle school years and still to this day, that they already had 2 strikes against them: they're African descendants and they're male. I'd further break it down the way Dr. Brown so brilliantly spoke upon. To this day, they continue to tell me how grateful they are for me talking to them in that fashion, as it has helped them to navigate this racist country, thus avoiding or knowing how to negotiate their path....
Thank you Professor Hunter and Dr. Brown....eye opening conversation....😊

In my opinion, the only people who can "...reshape the image of what it means simply to be a Black male in this country" are Black men. We act like we don't even love ourselves. We have major beef with each other just for looking at each other: "what you lookin' at!? Nah...what you lookin' at!?" We treat each other like ish and then expect other people to love and respect us, when we don't even love and respect ourselves. We glamorize and applaud malevolent behavior. We need to do better and take accountability for the part we've played in our own demise. Whyte folks are not gonna change. Nothing is gonna change for us unless WE change it. WE must be proactive.Thank God for keeping that young man Ralph Yarl and the miracle happened that day. I pray for continued healing of his mental and physical health 🙏🏾💐

Imagine how hateful and devilish you have to be to shoot a 16 year old in a split second of seeing him just because he's black and then the neighbors show him no humanity,In a country that calls it's self a Christian nation. The hateful sickness and cancer in this country is at level 5. Unfortunately there's no cure other than a rebuild from scratch.. I pray for this young man and his family.
I wonder if the vice president hears or sees these stories? She did say with her whole chest that AMERIKKKA is not a racist country. What AMERIKKKA is she living in?

We need to take the best practices of our ancestors moving forward. During Jim Crow, Black owned businesses were the rule, not the exception, because we realized we were all we got. Integration made us lazy and thinking that because we can walk into any business and not be openly called the n-word, we had “arrived”.
Also, when a white person does something racist, let’s quit with the, “I can’t believe…” response. They’ve shown us who they are and will continue to be. Can’t change them, nor should we want to. We have to control our own narrative.

Of course this is hurtful. We had four centuries of observation of what people who participate in the stupidity of the spell of race think and do. We know oppressors organized the founding and direction of the country. It is not the nature of an oppressor spirit to stop oppressing and they won't give anyone the way out of oppression either. I am disturbed all the time that darker hued people say America or US patriotically, as if it is actually what those lighter hued people said it was all these years. It was not ever a free country, the descendants of those people who organized it still don't want it to be, and guns are not the only weapon they use to actuate what they want. I don't know all the time, if the darker hued are speaking as if they have patriotic hurt to evoke sympathy, so that they don't get more attention from racist lighter hued in the government, or if they honestly feel patriotic and are let down sometimes, but it is odd. We should not ever have started asking for lighter hued to see us as human. Our ancestors were fighting, but the media and ruthless spirituality was used/is used, to convince and saturate into darker hued people that they were not. Lighter hued could only convince us that they are not racist, or inherintly racist, or at least sympothetic to darker hued issues if we see them make a great effort to change the country. They don't, so far. If we ask for something, we give people permission to choose. Lighter hued should not ever choose things for our lives or politics. They have not proved themselves to choose the most basic, like schools and basic laws. They not qualified, they don't even see hues of man. Why are some darker hued people still convinced to ask? Are they honestly thinking that darker hued only asked for jobs and equal opportunity? Maybe it's the process of thought about how to handle the issues that should change in the darker hued? We don't owe, nor did the lighter hued give us any conviniences or technologies, only pollution and to tread evolutionarily backwards because they don't live by the Lapis Lazuli. Lighter hued were behind us not ahead. Darker hued knew that the human body was the most advanced technology we are ever going to build and that comes with connection to Greater Concious. I am truly glad he survived. I hope the lighter hued person who shot him does not.

However it means to you have a responsibility to your generational past, present and future not to take the onslaught of others laying down or quitting. I'm never going to be lectured, misdirected nor misinformed by a race of people who stole this land from the indigenous people. Killed them or manipulated them to feel unwelcomed. Trade slaves and dehumanizing them, all while selling your virtues to the unwise among the world. The very audacity to preach the bible to conform others, all while nonconformant yourself is the biggest disgrace. The only way to get that out is to point a light on their hypocrisy.
