One of my absolute favorite Carpenter flicks - SO underrated and right up there with Vampires and Ghosts of Mars. I'm still rocking the original Universal anamorphic DVD, and it still holds up on a 65" 4K display upscaled to 2160 via my Panasonic UB9000. I never saw a need to upgrade.

I love carpenter’s remake of Village of the damned and Memoirs of an invisible man and feel they are both underrated films of Carpenter. Scream factory did a nice edition of Memoirs of an Invisible man on Blu Ray. I need to upgrade my Blu ray of Village of the Damned to the 4k. Awesome video as always buddy.

Watched it recently again. And it really holds up well. It plus the original movies are well done. I haven't watched the "Midwich Cuckoos" versions.

    Two things:
I don’t care what your politics are, but Mark Hamil is an absolute basket case. Dude went off the deep end.
These studios need to keep their AI away from FILM. If they want to AI their modern crap, I don’t care, but not touch actual film with that nonsense.
