    Thanks guys great video. The only thing I would have liked to see mentioned is placement of the tip insofar as how far down the nail you want to be playing the tip when adhering.
    Seeing so many people gluing tips half way down the nail plate or more 😕

    Such an easy to follow video just like the others. That's why I come back. I'm actually trying out the YN brush on glue for the first time. On a safety note, nail lamps put out uv light which is not good for skin. It's been recommended to apply sunscreen to the hands to protect yourself. But you'd want to make sure you wipe it off of your nails though that way it wouldn't interfere with product adhesion.

    • @belamourbeauty
      @belamourbeauty 2 роки тому

      This has been disproven by Doug shoon leading scientist in the nail industry. You get more uv exposure from one day driving in your car than one year of uv light usage.

    I was actually hoping you could address the problems with tips that occur when the nails point upward. Sometimes it's fine for a square nail but for stiletto or almond when you need the tip to angle down sightly, it's difficult to achieve. What are your tips and tricks for those situations? A video would be much appreciated. Thanks Greg 😁

      idk why but for me none of the tips ive tried with two brands work, they just don't fit and are too curved for my natural nails so even the biggest size has to be forced down I guess it's because my nails are really flat and don't have the curve so the nail tip can attach :/

  • @avantbijoux6430

    Super helpful thank you. I noticed your tips are quite talon like and thin is that just so that you can have a better angle to build on? Like when I put them up to my nail they point down quite a bit but maybe that’s just so that you can use the builder gels to get a better apex?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  2 роки тому +1

      Our tips are designed to be very thin so you can build the structure with your acrylic or hard gel since these products are stronger than just the plastic tips. As for the curve, if your natural nail has a more dramatic curve, the tip is going to follow that curve and it will look even more curved. If the natural nail has that extreme curve, it may be better to sculpt the extension so you can form it straight out from the natural nail instead of curving with the tip.

    • @youngnailsinc

    Do y’all have any advice for me when it comes to having a flat nail bed and using tips? One of my thumbs has a flat nail bed. You’re so correct. Small tip will then pop and cause air pocket. Should I use a big mail tip that hangs over the edge anyways and file it to customize it? I stopped using nail tips though because of this. Just doesn’t go well with my thumb but I quite enjoy sculpting.

    Question if the nail tip is to small or to big wich size would be your next choice if had no other size ?

      You would want to use the size that is bigger and then file it to fit the nail.

    What do you do if you don't have nail dehydration and primer?

    I have the large tray from you guys. Even the largest one in the pack is too small for my thumbs (i have to press it down as you showed). I don't see a larger one on the website. Do you not sell one?

      Unfortunately tips are a "one size fits most" type of service. Not every style of tip will fit every nail. For larger thumbs, you may be able to press the curve onto your table to flatten it out and make it wider, but if that doesn't work, you may need to sculpt an enhancement onto the wider thumbs.

    I have a question about how close the gel is too the cuticle. I see a little gap, my instinct would be to fill it. Would that make it look bad/ be too much? I’m very confused on how close exactly we should be getting to the cuticle

      @youngnailsinc  2 роки тому

      There isn't a specific measurement to follow, but a rule of thumb is to get as close as you can without touching the cuticle. Keep in mind that if you still see a slight gap after filing and you feel like it's not close enough, you are still going to top coat the nail and you can bring your top coat closer to fill the space and seal the product to the nail.

    What about putting a Fake nail on a breaking nail is that the same rules for it? After I put a wrap on the nail

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  2 роки тому

      If you have a broken nail and want to apply acrylic, we don't recommend applying a wrap first. The acrylic will be strong enough to hold the crack together.

    Can you repeat the first layer instead if switching colors?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  2 роки тому

      The first coat is just the synergy gel (hard gel) base. You do not want to build a nail with base. You don't have to switch to one of our concealer colors if you prefer clear. We have clear sculptor, build, build pink or flex synergy gel that are all clear and can be used to build the nail.
