So far you are my favorite Diablo UA-camr. Although I need to repeat the videos to understand as a first time Diablo player, it’s great info. Would you consider doing a video on a daily routine for a f2p player. Start to finish. I rarely join other players bcuz I may need to get off in a moments notice and would like to know when you must team up to max those benefits like with the rifts. Long message I know
I feel that, but you don't need to join a party and wait in a lobby like PC/console. You can join and keep doing your thing until the raid is ready, and leave before then if needed. As for doing quests, I believe it's the same, join and leave as you need, there is no lobby you need to wait in, it's all open world so it's really easy in the sense of not needing to wait on others or affect their gameplay if you ditch them.

Great video, everything you need to know, right there. I disagree on not crafting those charm stones, they come naturally and it costs 500 platinum but I always ended up selling them for at least 1.5-2k. not something you want to skip in the long run. Doing everything described in the video I saved up around 20k platinum and personally I think I will buy one of those expensive gems, try to resell them at higher price and if they don't sell I will test em out, live a little, play with them a bit and then dismantle them to upgrade the 1 and 2 stars.
The only thing I ever bought was the battle pass so far. It’s not really worth it except the skin, it looks amazing. But besides that, I been sticking to F2P way and I been having a blast, using the market to buy gems and got my 1 star to rank 5 to get that 5% magic find. Keep up the good work.
Very helpful. Unfortunately it's making me reconsider how long I plan on playing/ how much time I'll commit to this game. But this has been the best description/explanation I've seen so far on the topic. Thank you very much! I will subscribe for as long as I continue in the game.

Same. Although as a Barbarian if I'm ever able to save up enough to buy a 2 star Blood Soaked Jade or maybe a Bottled Hope I think it might be worth using one at a low rank simply for the movement speed that they provide.
Why is no one talking about the difference in gems between the ones you can craft and the random 1-5 star ones, it's not only that the chance to get a high star is better but the skills on all those gems are WAY better than the ones you can see in the crafting menu.
It's what more difficult now to get enough to craft gems. 22 to 28 runes was way easier back when this video was made. Now it takes forever to get 300+.
You say it is unfeasable for f2p to rank up high star gems. That sounds insane. What would it take money-wise to rank them up then? I payed for the regular battle pass, and that's where I personally draw the line, but I still feel extremely held back.
People should just not worry about the gems too much. I would imagine next months battle pass there is gonna be like a 3 star gem on offer or something like that. Blizz ain't gonna say it out loud because they don't want to dissuade anyone from spending money but I bet ranking up your gems all the way was meant to be a very long process over many updates to the game. Not something you try to brute force your way to max the first month the game has been out.
My thoughts exactly. But don't mention that to all the people who think you're supposed to drop 100k to do that first week of the game "by design" Outside of the fact that some millionaire could do that, I grind this game same amount as D3 and see no difference in my actual experience outside of the shop's temptation. @@danbrown3325 i don't get how people always do this though. they always try to brute force the end of the game then cry foul. How does it make you feel that your F2P gems fully ranked to Rank 10 will give +48 combat rating, while 5/5 Rank 6 gems give like +140 combat rating. You will always be +600 combat rating behind the Pay2Wins.
I managed to get a 2/5 star from a free crest and can not sell it on the market. and there is no way i'm going to be able to feed it 50 gems just to upgrade it once...
Imo it's more viable to craft random 1* gems with your FA runes. Looking at the drop chances for anything 2/5* and higher with random craft, you can create 3x more 1* gems and sell them on the market. That way, you have a steady platinum income that'll allow you to buy the gems you want on the marketplace way quicker.
The big issue is that there is a weekly cap for the amount of dust we can get from rifts. 200+120=320. If you need to get some ati runes to craft the gems needed to upgrade, you would need 7*15 dust per gem at best, 105 then. Which allows you to craft 3 gems max a week, so one gem can be leveled up from rank 2 to 3 in one month. 6 months to level up them all. For rank 3 to rank 4? That is an entire year of dust spending, just to get you entire gems to level 4. But even then, by then the resonance would be so low that you will be far behind… hence why I consider stopping playing this game
i know this is old vid by now, buy u really should have been buying the keys daily too. over the past 13 days, it would have been 65 keys. 250 hilts per day is not alot. buy the crests, and keys, and even charms are an ok buy. i buy those 3 items ALWAYS every day. stilll fine on hilts since day 1.

Yeah, but they don't want farming to be more viable. They want it to be possible, but only barely, so that people are pressured to spend money and when someone calls them out they can just say "but you can get it all for free".
@@ShadowBurn666 Eh, definitely not a year. Way to go bro! Going the 1800 res/awaken route will be more than enough for you to be a top contender. Need to start buying the charms think of them as 50 to 180 plat each for selling the skill stones.
Problem with charms is that even if you make them into a skill stone you need to spend 500 plat for that, so the skill stone needs to sell for at least ~650 + whatever you invested into charms. I don''t see how you will get out on top
@@wudijo Your market May be different that mine. Also RNG will play a big roll. But I’m at 20k plat once my gems sale and those skill stones have played a major roll. Also focusing on buying the 2 stars in my market is by far the way to go. Sometimes only cost 2550.
if you mean regular gems: you can get them in hidden lairs (which in hell difficulties force you to have a party) and their gems will be bound so you can't get platinum from them, so you need to farm outdoors/dungeons with a party to sell gems
Hey wudijo, is there anyway to awaken your gear without spending money. I know it need a level 10 gem and that can be manageable, but 1000 purple stone currency for awaken 1 piece of gear is a little much.
Literally no way. Needs Dawning Echos which can only be purchased with Eternal Orbs which can only be purchased with real money. Very disappointing. Hope Blizz changes that with updates.
The 1-5* random rolls have to be the exact same drop table as a single legendary crest, although I'd probably reach out to the regulators in the countries that banned the launch to see if maybe a disparity in those tables is what justified their denial.
I read somewhere (probably reddit) that the actual reason they couldn't release there is bc the laws essentially say that this is a type of gambling, and if the company wont say how bad the odds are, they cant release there. This is a pretty good hint about how bad things are statistically in this game.
the 2.4 patch includes 14-day tasks that reward you with a legendary crest, so 2 more leg crests a month for free. you may not get to play every endgame aspect in DI as f2p but considering you can have hours of fun in this beautifully designed gameworld, with your friends, on your phone. I think we all need to calm down a bit. A big chunk of the game is completely free and if you want to go beyond that just play d2 resurrected, d3 or d4 coming out next year and have fun spending nothing at all in DI in the meantime, possibly while you’re waiting for the bus. The mobile game industry sucks in general, but what f2p get from DI for absolutely free is still a lot more content than in most mobile games. I get that it’s sad to not be able to max out your character, and that games which rely on gambling are dangerous. so just take the hours of free fun and once you’re wavering about spending it’s time to uninstall. Stay away from it completely if you get addicted easily. In that case, probably stay away from all mobile games that are not paid up front. There’s plenty of console and pc options available to max out your character and play pvp for a reasonable price.
What about legendary gear? Where is best to find these. I used hilts to purchase a random legendary gear because I am level 60 (Paragon 20) and still just have a couple pieces from the battle pass I got when I first started playing. I've not had drops from rifts, dungeons or campaign.
guys how u make a 1 star to 2 star and a 2 star to 3 star and more? i really want to know if u know please tell me i saw the start of the video he said he will make more stars... but when u lvl up the gem it gets no extra stars
most 2 stars are worth more than four 1 stars so if anything you should do that but you still shouldn't really invest in 2/5 or higher because you will never rank them up
I would just hold on to whatever you collect unless you can sell it for crazy platinum. I'll eat my hat if they don't change this system completely after the massive negative backlash and lowest game rating of all time.
I always have way more hilts after buying the monthly and daily crests. Would there be any reason not splurge the extra hilts like say on some reforge stones?
Woh I didn’t realize you can only find normal gems In a party… how’s you find out about that? Does it say in-game? Blizzard is really bad with communication and tool tips. Good video btw. The gem system in this game is way to convoluted, I think I’ll go study macro economics, it’ll be easier.
You can get gems to drop solo, but only in certain places like dungeons. Being in a 4 man means they can drop anywhere in the game at an increased rate. when you join a 4 man you get a buff that tells you this. thats the only place i've seen it mentioned.
It sucks when you see a player lower lvl than you have more rank on gems and CR just because he spends money, where we spend more time than them just to get a 1 rank upgrade🤦
Lvl 41 curently, as a crusader, i have i think 170 resonance so far, and only one 2 star gem sk far. The rest are 1 star :) Thanks for the ideea of selling out those stones that you can put on the rings. How does the Battle pass cap work? It looks to me like it didnt reset on monday for me as I logged in every single day until now, but yesterday Ive got the message its Locked due to weekly cap and I am at Rank 31 ? How did you reach Rank 39 in the same time since the launch?
great video man! thank you for this. I do have a ? Say you rank up your 1 or 2 star gem pretty high an you get a 3 star, is all the progress you had on the other gem lost or is there some way to covert it?
The fragments they give will equal to the gems cost plus whatever you put into it so you're not really losing anything when you swap gems over although the higher star gems take more fragments per level
Wow thanks for the knowledge bro, now i know that above 2 star gems are useless for f2p because of there upgrade mechanics which are insane, I was envious of other players because they had so many good and rare gems with those incredible effects but now I know that's because of p2w mechanic...so iam gonna just focus on my crafted 2 stars and upgrade them.thanks a lot and keep such videos coming
That one kinda sells more than most others so you could probably get a fat amount of Plat for it to upgrade gems that you're gonna keep. Ooorrr you keep it bc its really good for your build and just know it's gonna cost a lot to upgrade it
at best you'll be able to upgrade it once, since rank 3 and up requires you to get that same exact gem again. so if its good for your build you can spend the 50 gem power to upgrade it, otherwise sell it for a 2 star gem that you'll be able to upgrade completely and get more out of it.

@@wudijo Your market May be different that mine. Also RNG will play a big roll. But I’m at 20k plat once my gems sale and those skill stones have played a major roll. Also focusing on buying the 2 stars in my market is by far the way to go. Sometimes only cost 2550.
@@smashmode2796 where you get normal gems to sell?
@@royalecrafts6252 If you group with 4 players it adds a buff where they drop. The most I have gotten is 13 a day. Pretty sure that's the cap.
@@smashmode2796 do they sell at a resonable speed?
So the only way to farm gems is in a 4man party ? Can i farm it solo??
if you mean regular gems: you can get them in hidden lairs (which in hell difficulties force you to have a party) and their gems will be bound so you can't get platinum from them, so you need to farm outdoors/dungeons with a party to sell gems
@@wudijo Thanks 🙏
Why you dont sell skill stones?
I do
Can u rank 2star to 5 star?
I got lucky and found a 2 out 5 blood soaked jade as free to play. Should i sell it or use it
Hey wudijo, is there anyway to awaken your gear without spending money. I know it need a level 10 gem and that can be manageable, but 1000 purple stone currency for awaken 1 piece of gear is a little much.
no way around those. If there wont be events or awards where they hand them out for free, awakening is ALWAYS cash walled.
Literally no way. Needs Dawning Echos which can only be purchased with Eternal Orbs which can only be purchased with real money. Very disappointing. Hope Blizz changes that with updates.
@@bryanlenkowsky9030 wonder how u change that after people spent already thousands. I mean they would go monkey
How on earth did you get so many hilts? OMG
I just saw a youtuber rank up a 2/5 legendary and it definitely didn't take 725. I think your reference site is out of date.
Please make video for awaken gem. Really need to buy with Real Money?
The 1-5* random rolls have to be the exact same drop table as a single legendary crest, although I'd probably reach out to the regulators in the countries that banned the launch to see if maybe a disparity in those tables is what justified their denial.
I read somewhere (probably reddit) that the actual reason they couldn't release there is bc the laws essentially say that this is a type of gambling, and if the company wont say how bad the odds are, they cant release there. This is a pretty good hint about how bad things are statistically in this game.
are you sure those gems can be sold?
the random ones from the jewler can, if your unsure just look for the icon in the top left corner it should be a little balance scale.
the 2.4 patch includes 14-day tasks that reward you with a legendary crest, so 2 more leg crests a month for free. you may not get to play every endgame aspect in DI as f2p but considering you can have hours of fun in this beautifully designed gameworld, with your friends, on your phone.
This is an awesome and informative video. We’re all gonna get absolutely wrecked by P2W players in PVP, this ain’t Elden Ring, but, it’s still cool.
Thanks for sharing
What about legendary gear? Where is best to find these. I used hilts to purchase a random legendary gear because I am level 60 (Paragon 20) and still just have a couple pieces from the battle pass I got when I first started playing. I've not had drops from rifts, dungeons or campaign.
mostly bestiary and dungeons
If you don’t have the money then you need the time… then money. Money you can make from time at work. Blizzard wants you money and not time.
guys how u make a 1 star to 2 star and a 2 star to 3 star and more? i really want to know if u know please tell me i saw the start of the video he said he will make more stars... but when u lvl up the gem it gets no extra stars
You cant the number is definitive. You can just upgrade the level of this 1/2/3/4/5* gems
Hi, do family bonus attributes only activate when all your equipment has that same stone?
Should i still grind elder rifts if i dont have crests left?
if you haven't maxed the embers yet and it's the end of the week, do that, else it's not needed
Strongly disagree with the 22FA runrs, is 100 times better to craft 7FA runes sell them on AH and buy a 5 star in a month or so
most 2 stars are worth more than four 1 stars so if anything you should do that but you still shouldn't really invest in 2/5 or higher because you will never rank them up
Hi wudijo, quickquestion, so its better to do elder rift with all other parties using their crests as well? So 12 normal crests total
yes
I would just hold on to whatever you collect unless you can sell it for crazy platinum. I'll eat my hat if they don't change this system completely after the massive negative backlash and lowest game rating of all time.
So as f2p i should stick to upgrading 1 star gems and never craft the random 28 fa gems?
you can get the 2 star gems you want for your build and rank them up a bit
I always have way more hilts after buying the monthly and daily crests. Would there be any reason not splurge the extra hilts like say on some reforge stones?
i actually got a 5 star legendary in my first try, i flipped out, so crazy
Sell ur account for irl money (like thousands of dollars) and bounce
The gem grind is unreal.
Woh I didn’t realize you can only find normal gems In a party… how’s you find out about that? Does it say in-game? Blizzard is really bad with communication and tool tips. Good video btw. The gem system in this game is way to convoluted, I think I’ll go study macro economics, it’ll be easier.
It's ridiculous, so much shit to follow, discouraging to keep playing or play actively
You can get gems to drop solo, but only in certain places like dungeons. Being in a 4 man means they can drop anywhere in the game at an increased rate. when you join a 4 man you get a buff that tells you this. thats the only place i've seen it mentioned.
Anyone know if I can transfer platinum from one alt to another ok the same account?
nope
It sucks when you see a player lower lvl than you have more rank on gems and CR just because he spends money, where we spend more time than them just to get a 1 rank upgrade🤦
The question is, why even grind and play this game for such minimal returns. If it was a blast I would understand. But this game is not a blast.
Great video I'm new to the game I not much know how to use runes gems etc
Lvl 41 curently, as a crusader, i have i think 170 resonance so far, and only one 2 star gem sk far. The rest are 1 star :)
Thanks for the ideea of selling out those stones that you can put on the rings. I am going to do that, i have quite alot of in my inventory and i don't think i will really upgrade them anyway, bonus is rather small.
12k hp and 1k attack at lvl 41 is good, i am wondering?
You are ok for now but soon you will need way more than that to even make it through the mountain area and the frozen area.
@@superrunnerx1 i try to upgrade my legendary gems for now and find full legendary items, maybe i will have a chanse
How does the Battle pass cap work? It looks to me like it didnt reset on monday for me as I logged in every single day until now, but yesterday Ive got the message its Locked due to weekly cap and I am at Rank 31 ? How did you reach Rank 39 in the same time since the launch?
im wondering the same🧐
The cap is on 2400 points a week, not ranks. Not sure when it should reset.
great video man! thank you for this. I do have a ? Say you rank up your 1 or 2 star gem pretty high an you get a 3 star, is all the progress you had on the other gem lost or is there some way to covert it?
It Turn to fragments
The fragments they give will equal to the gems cost plus whatever you put into it so you're not really losing anything when you swap gems over although the higher star gems take more fragments per level
Wow thanks for the knowledge bro, now i know that above 2 star gems are useless for f2p because of there upgrade mechanics which are insane, I was envious of other players because they had so many good and rare gems with those incredible effects but now I know that's because of p2w mechanic...so iam gonna just focus on my crafted 2 stars and upgrade them.thanks a lot and keep such videos coming
I got my first 2/5 star today. Seeping bile. Is it worth upgrading? I havnt spent shit so I don’t have a bunch of food for it.
Just won today shadow war and u will get 1 legendary crest for it.
