BMW E46 M3 Cold Air Intake Upgrade DIY (2001-2006 BMW M3 Eventuri Intake, S54 Engine)

► The S54 engine found in every BMW E46 M3 will be remembered forever for its high-strung, normally-aspirated design. The intake noise it makes is some of the best produced in the last two decades, but you can make it better by switching to an aftermarket intake. Replacing your S54 intake with an aftermarket option such as the full-carbon E46 M3 Eventuri intake will make the wonderful intake sound louder and add a few horsepower for good measure.

Baby!! #Eventuri Carbon Fiber Intake on a BMW E46 M3. 100% Chance you will drop those plastic rivets. Measure the diameter, in case you need replacements. And put a plastic bag or larger shop towel underneath to catch any drops.
I think #Eventuri also makes a Carbon Fiber Airbox to give you that BMW E46 M3 CSL Intake Sound. It is very thin CF and resonates while driving.

Have this on my M3 and hard to see how it adds HP when the filter is now open to the engine compartment and the cold air inlet does not seal to the airbox. I loved the video, but not impressed with this $1100 'cold air intake'. Would rather have a $500 CAI that actually sequesters the air as does the factory unit.
