Al Jazeera is only playing its role in setting out the narrative on Africa that the west and some Arab nations want Africans and the rest of the world to believe. Wasn't it France who did business with and supported Blaise Compaore for 27 years? Wasn't it the same with Kabore? And since we are asking questions, what about France's role in Sankara's assassination? If islamic fundamentalism and jihadism is threatening Africa and other regions of the world, Al Jazeera should be using its top investigative journalist to keep the spotlight on Al Queda, Al Shabaab and Boko Haram. Let us know where their funding and weapons are coming from, how many terrorists they have deployed across the regions, and what is their end mission in Africa. An islamic base (Al Queda) that tells African Youth (Al Shabaab) that western-styled education is forbidden (Boko Haram) and is willing to use terror and destruction to get its point across have no place in Africa. That is the elephant in the room Al Jazeera; don't take your eyes off of it!

@@MarcusAJohn-sp2ee I cosign everything you have written. The reason I like longer pieces is that they always "screw up" and accidentally reveal some truth or open up something they will have to explain later.
It's like a very savvy criminal agreeing to speak to the police at length. No matter how smart or clever, something you say will get you tripped up. The "dumb" guy who lawyers up is infinitely smarter.
So I have to give props for the airtime, even it involves serious slanted coverage.

Military coups NEVER solved Africas' problems in the past ,they rather made them worse. Military coups often lead to counter- coups , civil wars, mismanagement, corruption, human right abuses, and unstable environment and deprived Africa of peace much needed for development. The military in Africa should rather dialogue and cooperate with African governments to fight Jihadists and nation wreckers instead of using their activities as excuses to remove elected governments, and come to power to loot national coffers. Military coups have retarded Africas' development over three decades .The AU , ECOWAS , the international community and Institutions must make military coups and illegal constitutional amendments to hang onto power impossible and unatractive. Africa cannot afford to be going backwards with military coups among community of nations. It is a shame ! Soldiers in Africa alone have distabilized Africa for far too long .! Enough is Enough !

I don't know to much about this country but I will say that when it comes to France giving nations their independence that is a lie, because they're not able to control their resources or economy. And for a nation to be successful they must be in control of their own resources and money. So if France is going to give a nations their independence, they should also give them back their resources too so that they can be totally independent. What is independence if the people are not able to be in control of their own economics, resources and land . This is why a rich country is so poor all if their resources isnt going to the people or their country because it's going to France. This is why a rich continent like Africa is poor, because colonizer countries make sure to forever have control over rich melinated nation's resources and economics. This they don't want the world to know. Plus the colonizers nations always throw a monkey wrench into nations who wants leave or to flex their independence. Then countries like France turn around and maked it seem like the African nation just turned on it self for no reason. All we have to do is to study history and we will see that the play book is always the same. Love 💘 and light family.

2:21 This is NOT a step backwards, BUT a step forward for democracy in Burkina Faso. The founder of modern democracy, John Locke, noted that citizens have the right, and the duty to overthrow those who are in power who live off the people instead of serving them. It would appear that the government was not doing their job in Burkina Faso. The DUTY of government is to provide protection against internal and external threats, plus provide services for the people. The government FAILED in their duty by not protecting their population. They allowed people to be attacked by external forces continually, they did not feed the soldiers who were tasked with protecting the people. I therefore commend those who removed their government's impotent like leaders from power!

@@Ghanadiaries Burkina Faso had a leader who was allowing people to be killed by external enemies on a regular basis. The government was not doing anything concrete about it. That is a failure of the state to protect the people, meaning the leaders were incompetent or worse so they needed to be removed, and they were, so this is a good thing, not sure how good this new leadership will be but the old leadership needed to be removed, immediately, for the good of the country and the people.

“The third principles of the religion of Bahá’u’lláh (The promised one
of all ages) is in regard to international peace. There must be peace
between the fatherlands; peace between the religions. In this period of
evolution the world of humanity is in danger. Every war is against the
good pleasure of the Lord of mankind. Man is the edifice of God. War
destroys the divine edifice. Peace is the stay of life; war the cause of
death. If an active, actual peace is brought about, the human world
will attain to the utmost serenity and composure. Wolves will be
transformed into lambs; devils into angels and terrors into divine
splendors in less than the twinkling of an eye.”
