Sreevanjiam Mani Iyer was the brother of Sreevanjiam Ramachandra Iyer former principal of Govt Music College formerly known as Rajas college Thiruvaiyaru. This Ramachandra Iyer different from Abinava Meera Sreevanjiam Ramachandra baghawather. Sreevanjiam Mani Iyer was well versed in navavarna krithis and Navagraha krithis he performed many recitals and awarded by jamshedpur music sabha the very same ganakaladara title as of Madurai Mani Iyer
But totally Sreevanjiam Mani Iyer was an Unsung Hero as he apted bhajana padhathi more than cutcheris.In this recital at our Guruvayurappan Athistanam House his accompsniments were Thsmbikottsi Vedamurthy- violin and Thiruvalaputhur Ramamurthy ( Son In Law of Parithyappar Kovil Soundararajan Nadaswara Maha Vidwan and came under the school of Thanjavur Rajam Iyer and the deciple of Nagarajan is playing mirudhangam.
