- Check out this awesome Eaglemoss Ghostbusters Ecto-1 replica car that was on display at New York Comic Con 2019! This amazing model has working doors as well as lights and many moving parts.This is actually a build it yourself model that comes in parts and is assembled in your own home.

Didnt the ecto 1 have tinted windows and how come the lights are not on
I messaged Eaglemoss about. And they said the windows come tinted
@@BVENTUROUSATHLETICS awesome, I was concerned about this too. Is it me or is the windows too big? Maybe it's the lack of tint that makes it appear that way or everyone else has gotten it wrong.
The Ecto-1 is beautiful. The 4 figures not so much.
Agreed, the Ecto looked fantastic but the figures were underwhelming.
I think I will stick with my Blitzway Ecto, it looks 10 times better than this .

Just started building the iconic Ecto 1. Looks very impressive. Can not wait to finish building in around 139 weeks time & start showing it off along with my 1:12 scale Routemaster.
Quality footage as usual. Will have to look this up. I would love the Blitzway Ecto 1 to go with the Ghostbusters I have but size/cost means it's very unlikely. Maybe this could make a good substitute.
Edit: While it's a bit smaller it looks like it's probably just as expensive (depending how many issues) but I suppose the cost is well spread out.
This one is $240 it's all die-cast metal and is shipped "piece meal" over a 24 month period. It screws and snaps together and comes completely painted

@@wewuzkangz4723 i think your confused and its easy the way they have it displayed. It's 10.90 a issue, but you get 4 issues per month.

@@wewuzkangz4723 $45 a month for 24 months is $1080. I'm Canadian so convert that from US to Cad dollars and add extra shipping each issue. your looking at over 2k for that model

I got the email last night that my first 2 issues have been shipped!!! Can't wait to get working on this bad boy!!
I suggest you join one of the fb groups on this build if you haven't already there are a bunch of mods already in the works. We have 3D resin printed hood vents that stick on with the pieces being done in a way to show rivet detail as well as to show off that the vents were two pieces like on the real car. They also have openings on the vents that makes the detail even better. They are also working on 1/8 scale illuminated proton packs, they are working on functional anti collision strobes for the grill which is why I left mine off for now. They are also working on parking lights as they aren't functional now which would be accurate as park lights would never be on with headlights on this car.
I have the hood vents and they are amazing compared to what is supplied with the kit, I am awaiting the strobe lights to be offered, and a fixed license plate mod. I might even get the functional parking lights if they mod them to function like the real ones. Im also waiting for the blue police barrier barricades to be finished as I am planning on a custom asphalt display base to emulate the final act of the first film before the road buckled up.
