One big flaw in PVP from this game is players will tend to attack trainer first, as the weaker counter part to their monsties and obtain cheap victories. It DOES NOT matter at all if you have the strongest set of genes for the monsties in the entire game, all will be for nothing when your opponent just kept on first striking your character. Ex. Cheap Ivory Lagiacrus thunder attacks can one shot a max out player even wearing Molten Tigrex armor set, and 2 shot ko players with the skill similar to MHW Guts from their charm. Edit: This is coming from someone who has the best correct genes for lvl99 deviljho, lvl99 seregios, lvl99 stygian zinogre, lvl99 zinogre, lvl99 Ivory Lagiacrus, lvl99 Lagiacrus, lvl99 kirin(heal tank) and more. I put 200 hours into the game already, beat the end game including taking out the insane Rajang with my heal tank deviljho, beat fatalis and currently rank B from rank S in PVP, due to all the cheap rider focus down defeats.
@@Reshkrom if I go first I would just target their rider immediately and also obtain first win. Most of the time my monsties have no issue fighting the other team's monsties. Just mostly losing to first stike. Although few defeat was from barioth ice aoe attacks.
Hey Tag! Thanks for the videos! I've been playing for a while, but I can't get my head around the genes. What is smart to use, what gems, what skilles, ect. I'd be really happy if you could make a video explaining this :)
there is a ton you can do, getting any bingo is good for the +50 Health if you cant get antyhing else. but I usually focus on getting a Bingo for the Element of the most powerful attack, and the Speed/power/tech bingo depending on the attack. then stuff like Might L, Defense, elemental boosts etc
A tip when fighting molten tigrex. When it uses explosive dust or causes blastblight, use a monstie that uses speed attacks because molten tigrex will use blast chaser which is a power move, it is extremely weak to water

@@TagBackTv I found them. Zinogre drops them and they're around the ruins of redan. I guess I wasn't far enough in the story. Thanks tho man!
My favorite weapons are the long swords. I have the great Jaggi sword at level 108 and a Kushala Daola sword at 102

Through pvp monster hunter gerations rules you get egg fragmints and once you get 9 you can put them to gether and get glavenus
