Today's world is all about having improvements to life as quickly as possible, at anyone else's expense. It's just 'me me me grab grab grab'. At the age of 82 I did not even bother to vote, as the effect on my life will be minimal whatever they do. I have planned to ensure that my wife and I, although not rich, have enough money to pay our bills and put food on the table. What is needed is for 100 or so sitting Labour MP's to leave the party and to sit as independants, and then to vote what is best for their constituents, not the party whip... Perhaps the PM's smug grin would then turn into a grimace as he realises just how despised he and is CotE really are.
Why wasn't Rishi like this when he was PM? Or is he sounding so good because Starmer is so bad. Love how they all laughed at everyone else's suffering.
A few decibels below the noise lies the truth, which is so loved by some politicians so much that they use it with great economy. What we know is that there were high financial overruns by the previous Conservative government which the present Labour government knew nothing of. Moreover, the OBR has stated emphatically that they were not privy to the GBP 9.5 bn which resulted in the state of public finances being inaccurate.
