We have a new music genre! Mariachi Surf Rock! I really loved this, especially the last track Come On! I find the mashup with these styles to be energetic, new and innovative. Brilliant work.
Great job Jim! Takes me back to a day where I would get in the car, turn the radio left of the dial, and hear all kinds of great influences mixed together for new, interesting, cool music. Sounds like it was a fun project!
Sounds good Jim, but the bass guitar is a bit weak in the mix as it plays on UA-cam. You really have to listen for it at times, and in a few song just not coming through. Probably a UA-cam issue because they love to compress audio files. I really like the tunes though, great job!
Yeah there's absolutely something off in both I think. I notice a difference between the UA-cam audio and the raw WAV files but even those are missing a bit of low end in general.
This is cool, but the mix sounds a bit off. The bass only exists in a narrow range, and the drums aren't hitting hard enough. Might just be UA-cam, but something is off. Anyway, I like the music, but not the recording/mix.
I actually agree with you on this, it does sound substantially different on UA-cam than the raw WAV files we have but even then it is a bit lacking in the low end in general I feel like
Horns! I dig it.
Horns were mandatory on a few songs hahaha
Oh hell yeah! Now this is what I like to see and hear!!!
Thanks Ian I appreciate your support as always man
@@AudiomoMusic pleasure mate! Is an awesome record and looking forward to catching up soon!

when the time and moment becomes available, I will be purchasing this album. Keep grinding and growing Jim, don’t give up on that dream gangsta
Dreams are meant to be chased forever or what's the point right?
Cool man

Right on it was! We purposely wanted a more garage sound out of it and I'm happy it was an entertaining trip back to the old days
Look at those faces @ 2:57! Energetic and fun, thanks guys!
Just two guys hanging out on the edge of the cliffs staring at the pacific, man how time flies hahaha
Thanks!
Thank you so much Scott!!!
Awesome playing!
Thanks man, I had a lot of fun with it ( admittedly more fun doing the drums ) haha
Finally! Awesome music, Jim! If Tarantino made a surf-themed movie this would be a perfect soundtrack! Rock on!
what a compliment Stan, happy you liked it man!
Very surprised how much you guys packed into this album, it sounds great. Azul is a beast, love it!
That's Dave's favorite track on the album, I had a ton of fun with it as it's a big change of pace to the rest of the songs
Jim, congrats on the album! Sounds great!
Thanks man, appreciate it!!
I never saw this upload!
apparently nobody did haha
Excellent work, Jim.
Thanks Evan, can't wait to hear some of your stuff one day!!
@AudiomoMusic that's the plan!
This sounds awesome through my sound system in my car. It kept me rocking another night delivering pizzas.
what a fun record, reminds me of the 90s in the best way. congrats!
Thanks for that man it was just meant to be raw and fun and I'm happy people caught on to what it was inspired by
nice! Would sound great live!!
Man I would love to play some of these live again, so much noise haha
Did you use different guitars or just stick with one?
I mainly used a Fender Jaguar but most of the little lead lines were a strat and layers were done over the main jag parts with the es-339
