I've been watching since the early days and Kyle you literally have put your heart and soul into everything it's just so hard to watch you in Florida making Dyno runs without Brent there. I try to keep up with PFI and goofy Shane it's just so much but I love all you guys it's amazing to watch you make the same HP as guys with twice the cylinders. Mad respect and love.
Another good mod for the MR2 would be a set of bead lock wheels so there’s no chance of the wheels spinning in the tires. Cooper had a slight issue like that on the Camaro
I'm fairness to the guy the radiator is up front stock, I think they just recently moved it to the back? Pretty sure first iteration kept the front mount radiator for weight distribution.
While the cage is getting done it would benefit to find fabricate some trays for the underside of the car for aero and to catch fluid if it has a failure.

the carbon fiber roofsections will probably compensate the extra weight added with the new rollcage about the mecanic fuelpump : maibe it starts to cavitate at a certain rpm or isnt able to get its fuel demand from the size fuel lines that you have running from the tank to the pump and the vacuum is causing the cavitation

Why do Hondakids always bring up hp/cyl? STI and Evo guys don't even do this nonsensical bullshit. Forced induction increases displacement so who cares whether it's 4, 5, 6, 8, or 12 cylinders?
Letting off early doesn't affect the peak numbers since it started rolling over at 8900. So revving to 11k is just extra stress for no reason . Revving it st the track will obviously help but for peak numbers it's irrelevant
one of the greatest things to watch is a kid that thinks his car is fast as can be at 400 hp he blows a ton of engines up doesnt care at all eventually he builds a 1000 hp engine and still doesnt care about much at all and then one day he be accident gets within a few tenths of a record on the track still blowing the shit out of everything he owns then he gets together with a buddy and together they build a real deal car front to back and first time out they smoke the record at the track and doing so he learns a ton of knowledge now he checks everything and cares about what the engine is doing just great story to watch unfold, i have been here since the burnouts infront of the old shop in colorado

Pretty sure it's doing a burnout up top, you can see the smoke coming from between the tire and Dyno roller. Needs more Dyno sauce. Hair spray or spray glue are the go to options I think?

I've never watched your channel, but keep kickin ass on that car, shes sick. You were spinning WAY more tire on that non logged run, and you didn't on the last one. You definitely weren't making the same power between runs. If I were to guess you were making 1170-1200 on the missed run. That's actually a wicked smart location for a Dyno, all that space to run out if it jumps the dyno. A mechanical fuel pump at over 1k hrsprs? You are a brave brave man. Using an Electronic Waste gate, but a mech fuel pump. shewwwww

You've already gone electronic on the waste gate. Why not go electronic on clutch release from your fellow Colorado native. With data log analysis on The Bang Shift Billy. He was breaking t56's until he developed this kit. See if he can do it for your car. He won SCT Denver stick class 1200hp SBF in a Fairlane. I am sure Brent can set it up the call. It made his car easy to dial in on launch. This might make it easy for you to control the power at launch with leaving the ground. Been with you guys since the Geo back when you were under 20k. Love the builds my favorite is the MR2. I bought one brand new off the show room in 1989. A 1990 MR2 Turbo. Can not think of a better team to break the MR2 record! The first two runs definitely hazed the tires, the last run did not. The clutch could very well be the culprit.

If the Fuel Tech is recording tire speed and rpm, compare the 2 and if there is a change in slope vs the other during the pull, you have clutch slip.

You've already gone electronic on the waste gate. Why not go electronic on clutch release from your fellow Colorado native. With data log analysis on The Bang Shift Billy. He was breaking t56's until he developed this kit. See if he can do it for your car. He won SCT Denver stick class 1200hp SBF in a Fairlane. I am sure Brent can set it up the call. It made his car easy to dial in on launch. This might make it easy for you to control the power at launch with leaving the ground. Been with you guys since the Geo back when you were under 20k. Love the builds my favorite is the MR2. I bought one brand new off the show room in 1989. A 1990 MR2 Turbo. Can not think of a better team to break the MR2 record! You guys should build a no prep/street car out of the red mr2. Same power plant, but don’t worry about all the rear weight bias, it’d help for that senario.
