LOVE this Tim Foust original--he's such a great songwriter❣️
No, you aren't confused. He is known for being one of the best bass singers. This is an example of what his 5-octave range sounds like!
This is a Tim Foust original, & I love listening to it year round because it's just such a great song!! And you're correct Tim is the bass, but can also go all the way up to high tenor, that man is amazing with his vocal range. Thanks for another great reaction to my favorite guy's. 🍟❤️
They all amaze me! It just keeps getting better! Thanks Sherry!
@@TheSpeakEasyLounge Tim is definitely a bass lol Check out his duet of Misty Mountain for a low range, a Lord of the Rings song... with a 5 octave range, check out on his own UA-cam channel and his solo Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow at his high range
❤️❤️
There is a recent video of a concert where Tim took some of Austin’s high parts because Austin was sick.
Another great song featuring his range is Since I Don’t Have You.
Tim has a 5+ octave range and none of it forced. Just like the Ruppster, he is a freak of nature. This is one of my favorite songs!
one of my favorite HF songs and the fact that Tim wrote it, makes it even better. How about Tim's range on this? thank you for your reactions
My pleasure!
5 members = 2 Basses, 3 Baritones, 5 Tenors, and 5 Beat Boxers
WOW!
According to Tim, it was Adam that hit the A0 in 'Sold'. So, Rupp can get there as well. Just not often, and not sustained.
@@leftalone4264 so 3 basses, 4 baritones?, 5 tenors and 5 beatboxers. If you throw in Darren(?) their manager who did the low bowm bowm bowm bowm sound, that's 4 basses and 6 beatboxers...lol.
It's their song. Tim wrote it. Tim has a rare 5-octave range and can sing high or super low.
To get a proper feel for Tim’s range you need to listen to him sing Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay
Tim has many talents. They all do. He wrote this and showcases his high range in this
This is an original, so that's why it's not familiar. And you are correct, Tim Foust is usually the bass. But with the addition of Chance, who was the bass for his previous group, it's allowed Tim to sing a much wider variety of ranges. A good way to check out that range is on his personal channel with the song Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. I promise he will blow your mind! Great reaction and Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays!
Thanks for the info. How did you see this yet? I have it set as unlisted...
@@TheSpeakEasyLounge seconding checking out Tims solo stuff, it's where he can do whatever he wants
@@TheSpeakEasyLounge I watched another of your reactions and this one popped up when I was looking to see any other videos I wanted to watch.
This is an original by Tim and should be on every Christmas play list.
I believe this is an original. This is amazing. Tim is so sexy in this video. Adam Chance does bass I believe. All the guys do a fantastic job
Yes Tim is the bass. He can go as low as I have ever heard and he can go high. He sings in more octaves than anyone I've heard in my life. Check out more of Home Free.
This is one of my all-time favorites, it is a TIM FOUST original. Tim blows me away!
As others have already mentioned, no, you're not confused, Tim IS a natural bass. He just has a 5+ octave range, and with the addition of Chance, he can sing leads more often. And he wrote this. Eventually, after you're a bit more familiar (and after the new year), you should check out their "Mayday". If you want a foretaste, go to Austin's channel and watch Austin &Tim's "My Maria".
This is an original written by Tim, the lead singer, who yes, he is their bass, but he sings in his higher range here...he has a 5 octave range that he can sing in and sound professional in all 5...he's that good !! After Christmas I suggest these to listen to.... I can't outrun you, Helplessly Hoping & Hillbilly Bone that way you can hear Tim's bass really well.
Adam Chance had just joined the group. In his last group he had been the bass. This was arranged so that folks could get an idea of what Chance was capapable of.
This such an awesome song. Tim wrote this. He has a 5-octave voice range.
HF's ability to imitate a full band is fantastic. If you want to see Tim's range in action, watch the track from his doo wop solo album - Will you Still Love me Tomorrow/Stay. Or some of his work with Peter Hollens. But his voice is great anyplace along the route of his 5 octave range.
Thanks for another great reaction to the Home Free guys. It is a lot of fun when someone finds out that Tim can sing real low and real high. I felt the same way when it happened to me. Thanks again and have a great Christmas.
It was all my pleasure! Merry Christmas to you!
Tim (the bass guy) wrote this, and yes he does have a higher range that is amazing. When you get to the point that you know all their names and the parts that they sing, then, and only then do I suggest you react to their cover of 'Mayday', but you need to react to a few more of their songs first.
Tim actually has a double doo wop album called pieces of me and he does all the singing. It's Amazing 👏
Tim "is" the bass, but just like the others he has a few surprises. He has a 5 octave range. Listen to him and Austin singing "My Maria". You'll be in shock at how high he goes.
He is bass, but he has a 5 octave range.
I had no idea! Thanks Mark!
Yes, Tim is the bass singing up in the tenor range. He has a 5 octave range. Tim wrote this song too. It’s so good. Tim and Austin have been writing a lot of songs. Such a cute video and yes Adam is super talented and the boys really sound like a band. Have a wonderful Christmas! 😍
:) It's an Home Free original -- by Tim!!! And yes, you are correct --- Tim is usually the bass guy, but here -- Chance is pulling that duty (and often does), well, because he can. The possibilities are nearly endless with these guys with their crazy ranges -- Tim and Chance have very similar range and can fit nearly any texture wanted. Austin and Rob -- or Rob and Austin ... well, that's somewhat known ......... but the beatboxer Adam Rupp will absolutely surprise you with his range!!!! All this is learned of course (without giving away) and like to leave it as a discovery!!! Be Safe
You go Tim!! Great song!!
Yes, Tim is the bass. Incredible range. And when Tim is singing higher, Chance drops down and covers the bass.
Everyone has beat me to it but Tim has five octaves! And he is the writer of this song!
Tim did the high part in "My Maria" too. Really surprised me then.
Great song and reaction
to see Tim's upper range check out their cover of Mayday
So glad these guys found each other !
me too!
Yes, he is the bass guy
Thanks!
Home free / Alabama....Christmas in Dixie.....Please..and thank you
Yep Tim is the low bass but has more than a 5 octave range
Both Tim Foust & Austin Brown are song writers (they both also play piano) and there are originals written or co-written by them. Among those are the one you just played (by Tim), "What's Left Of My Heart" & "Remember This" (also Tim's); among Austin's are "California Country", "Love Me Like That" and "Save the World".
P.S. - Tim Foust has a 5+ octave range. He encourages other bass singers to explore their higher ranges (he can sing falsetto and does on his solo album "Pieces of Me" wherein he sings all the tracks.
You are right but Tim has a five octave vocal range ( bass ,baritone, AND tenor , and tenor! ! ) .
Merry Christmas!!! Hope you have a happy and safe holiday season! I am loving your reactions! Maybe in the near future you can react to Tims' Doo-Wop songs/videos where he does all the harmonies! Love from Texas!
Thanks for working your way through HF's Christmas songs! PLEASE don't miss their cover of "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"! ua-cam.com/video/6c8GlSb6XlA/v-deo.html The guys have a great sense of humor to go along with their amazing musical talents!!!
Tim does bass, but has 5 octave range!!
I'm a bit surprised you know so little about this ORIGINAL song.
Chance is doing the bass part .
Tim has a range of 5 plus octaves
I'm a new subscriber....I love Home Free!
So the group basically has 3 basses, the lowest being Tim. 4 baritones. 5 tenors, the highest being Austin, and 5 beatboxers, of course the best being Adam.
Tim does the bass but he has an over five octave range.
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Their sound is very "rich".
Listen to Tim Foust will you still love me tomorrow
ok you done a good number of HF now and know each guys parts right. Wrong! YOU are Mayday ready. so give it a view but be ready to have someone close your mouth for you
Tim's high notes are not even close to as high as he can go.
WOW! Looking forward to more!
@@TheSpeakEasyLounge check out Tim's solos
Tim has a 5 octave range
