In Buddhism there is something called "the hungry ghost." They are beings who are driven by intense emotional needs in an animalistic way. This song reminded me of that concept.

Everything Medicine for the People makes is just so beautiful, so high vibration, it almost puts me to tears every time! Each day I listen to your songs with my two year old on the way to his school, and he sings along with his apache mescalero "uncle Nahko Bear".
He asked me yesterday if he could sing like uncle Nahko someday, I said "yes of course, you already do! Just keep singing about all the most beautiful, inspiring things, places, and people..."
