The problem with these lifts are the actual lifts. They are heavy. So while they help you to get the heavy kart onto the trailer/platform but when it is time to go to a track, you end up lifting the heavy kart-lift and not the kart. Also they do scratch the living daylight out of the front/rear bumper depending on the design. So while they are good, they are not a perfect solution. A one-men operation needs them, if you got a helper, then there are better solutions. Don't know the weight of this lift, but the one I tried was 120lbs (motor, battery, etc.) and the kart was 140lbs. So very similar weights. If they make them out of aluminium then they might work better. They have to be under 50-5lbs to make them easy to store/pack etc.
Ok. that is better. The one I tried was just so much and had a huge battery. It was designed to get a large kart , dirt oval kart, etc. with ease. It did but the weight was 50kg with the battery.
How can it scratch the bumper when it hooks to the chassis? I'd love to have one of these. Trying to figure out if it will lift my kart as my class has a min weight.
Il miglior alzakart esistente. Soldi (tanti) ma ben spesi. Non lo cambierei con nessun altro.
great job!
Can you show me how you load/store it in your truck or trailer to transport the lift itself? Is it easy to lift to load into a pick up truck etc.?
