Thank you I just bought one today from a lady that’s never used it still in the box $65. I’m excited I have lots of gumpaste and fondant now I can do something your videos good you’re hilarious thank you.
I stumbled across your page and i am so excited that i did. I am on a search now for a cake cricut. I am looking forward to looking at your videos. You make it look so easy.
terrific video, real tutorials for real cakers 😄 "tis herself" which seems to be very real and down to earth. Thank you for sharing. Glad I came across your channel.
I am a new subscriber. I was looking for tutorial on using the Cricut Cake Mini and you popped up. :-) I have had this machine for over a year any haven't used it yet. But this tutorial makes it look pretty easy. So, I'm going to give it a try before I sell it in my garage sale. LOL. I've been sitting here watching your videos since about noon. They are very informative and keeps my interest. You've got a new fan in me. I look forward to seeing new videos (after I catch up on the current ones) and working on my own masterpieces. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Andrea where did you go to? Lol! I'm a new subscriber and I haven't seen all your videos yet but love what i have seen. Scrolling through all your videos I've noticed 2 years ago is your last video. Please more videos, I am enjoying them and learning lots from you. Thank you for sharing sweet cakes with all of us.
Love it! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us all these tips, maybe now I won't be too scared to use my cricut. All your videos have been so helpful. :)
Lovely tutorial Andrea....n you have totally convinced me to go buy this machine! I was scared to-but thanks to you this video took care of that fear :)
Thanks for this video .... I have had my machine for a few years and could never get the letters to come out nice enough to justify getting it out. I was doing it completely wrong ... rolling fondant out super thin ... putting a lot of softening ... even putting it in the freezer for a few minutes in hopes to cut it cleaner. I will diffidently try it again.
Thanks so much Andrea! I have had the cake cricut forever and rarely use it - will use it more now! When you use toothpicks/wire/skewers on the letters/numbers - do you stick them to the back? Or inside them?
you can stick the toothpicks with melted chocolate or royal icing. The only time I insert the support right into the letter is when I cut them super thick!....which is not ofter.
You are awesome. You work the same way I do...Sound effects a must. LOL. Thank you for your time with this video. I wasn't able to understand you, in regards to the different sizes for the letters. If I'm doing a font, with a backdrop behind it. I understand you said the machine will adjust. Could you please explain how it knows to adjust. I'm sorry I just got my Cricut yesterday, and don't know all the names of all the buttons yet. So do I have to tell the machine I'm doing the back drop letters first, or does it just make you do them anyway! I should've opened my Cricut, and followed you that way. Forgive me. I'm usually a lot more prepared then this. Thank you in advance. BTW You have a new fan in me. Thank you again for your time. Love and Peace Loretta
Hi, i LOVE your work !!! I've just a question. In my country they only sell the "mini" cricut... is it just the same as the one you use? or it's a bit limited in the things that can create?
The "backdrop" is actually called the "shadow" and the machine itself is called a "Cricut Cake".. hope that clears up any confusion. This is NOT the same as a regular Cricut Mini as some have asked. They are honestly the same machine, but the Cricut Cake Mini and full size Cricut Cake have been manufactured to be "food safe".
This is the first video of yours I have seen...Awesome tutorial for using the Cricut Cake. I haven't used mine yet but hope to soon :) May I ask about the blue matt you have on your work area? Where can I get one?
Hi!!! Where did You buy the cake circuit. Pls :)? And which air brush do you use? Thanks Andrea. I am outside the country and they are going to buy it for me in Toronto. Thanks again .
I'll be getting a machine in the next few weeks. I have one question, would it be possible to use slightly chilled modeling chocolate in place of fondant??
For those who are watching this for the first time you have a way better personal cutting option in the Brother Scan 'Cut. No more cartridges to cut things out. As long as you ONLY use it for food projects then no need for rebranded hardware that has no technical merits to qualify as a Cake Cutter or Edible ink printer.
Hello I know this video is a few years old, but I bought one of these off marketplace and started to use it with a silpat mat because it didn't come with a cricut mat, they are no longer available on amazon and ebay will cost $50 to ship from the UK, I was wondering if you have a solution?
Hi Andrea I am in the UK so don’t know if you can help me. Is there anywhere I can purchase spare blades for mini cake machine that would ship to uk. I know they don’t make the machine anymore is there a general blade that would fit machine. Thanks for your time Best Regards Kim

Thank you so much i just got one as a gift I haven't used it! But I will now
Hi Andrea,
I am having difficulty getting replacement blades in the uk, do you know if any of the others work in Cricut cake?
I'll be getting a machine in the next few weeks. I have one question, would it be possible to use slightly chilled modeling chocolate in place of fondant??
Tweet probably! I would definitely try it out!

How do you use craft cartridge in the cricut cake. Will it fit in the machine.
What kind of mat is that you are using? It seems to be great for rolling dough.
Kara Caldwell here you go Hun! www.amazon.ca/Ateco-697-24-Inch-36-Inch-Silicone/dp/B000KEUJYS

Amazing! I thought you had a cookie cutter for every letter lol... Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Very sweet i loved i go buy one for me i will make brazilian cakes!!!!!! thanks
andrea, could you please tell me what do you pass on the map before putting the gum paste?
DoceDoce I use shortening and brush it onto the mat. Not to heavily, as it can cause the gum paste to then slide around or shift as the machine cuts.
Can I please get the link from where you purchased it from?
Hi Andrea Can I ask where can find this machine and how much the price I'm from Saudi Arabia
I love this but how do I make a capital letter? I have the cupcake cartridge

Andrea how can I write happy retirement like the happy birthday that comes with the first cartridge
quero comprar como que eu faso fazer o pedido

Why did she not where gloves
