I bought my Mustang 50 to replace my "almost: ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend worn out John Deere L120 (48" Cut - 20 HP Briggs). First off - I can now mow my almost 3 acres in about 1/2 the time it took with my other mower... I have had the Mustang 50 for almost 2 years now... Maintenance is easy - the Kohler Motor is "out in the open" and everything, except for the oil filter, is VERY easy to get to... To change the oil filter I have learned to fold the seat forward - no problem now... The deck is SUPER easy to drop... Rememb..

Loved your video Plinkster.I bought a 22 Ruger with the target barrel and it was so accurate I could never even think of using another barrel.I know your setup is lighter than factory but not sure that it is more accurate than the way Ruger did it.Just my two cents added and appreciate the time you put into your videos for us shooting nuts and to have a fun time doing it!

I have a Ruger 77-22 built by Bluegrass Armory. It has a 24" iatrical suppresser is black Teflon coated S.S. with a black fiberglass stock. It's rated at 29 D.B. I mounted a Tasco Euro Class 30mm 3-12 X 56mm scope that has a steel tube and Lutz lenses. Bluegrass built this rifle for me around 20 years ago and it is good shooter today. Love the 10-22!

I want one! Even though my government pulled some mean things that only allow us to use 10 round mags in the rifle... for now... we found a workaround and will be up to 20 and 30 round mags of our own.
That is a wonderful rifle and I normally do not like orange.

My grandfather gave me one of his benchrest scopes, a Sightron 10-50x. I put it on my 22 lol. With anything else its tough to actually see anything when you're not on a bench! But my carbon barreled 1022 is a tack driver.

You could shrink groups a bit by using a room thickness gauge on your ammo,,, it allows you to sort ammo by rim thickness, which makes a yuge difference,,,I bought one from a guy that makes them locally and saw a big difference in group size

I will put my KIDD 10-22 up against FRANKEN RIFLE any time you wish! I'm working with a 20" full taper barrel, single stage trigger(2lbs) with the quick bolt release and a Vortex Crossfire II 6×24-50 scope(life-time replacement). If you label yours "tack-driver" mine would be "pin-driver", now what!? LOL. I shoot quarter size groups of 5 @ 100 yards in my sleep. At 150 yards my groups start to look like yours. Great videos, keep'em coming! Thank you...

He can't split a card . He doesn't shoot for accuracy like the gun is intended ...He shoots for "groups"! Cause he doesn't know how to dial in a scope properly. He's a group man.

    • @ColinDies

I'm assuming you're joking, but dude definitely knows how to dial in a scope. Perhaps not in this video, but he uses a few different types of ammo with different points of impact. To show the true accuracy of the rifle, and for the purposes of his video, shooting for groups was the most effective way to accomplish that.

I really like the stock, I like the look and the functionality plus the cost is reasonably. I hate some of these coustom builds, it seems like they spend hundreds of dollars on components for their gun. This gentlemen bought a really well designed stock and didn't have to drop a fortune on crazy expensive fancy wood grain stock for twice the money.

You need faster ammo. Before 100 yards your ammo is transitioning the sound barrier and is becoming unstable. I suggest the CCI unleaded stuff or something at least 1,400fps. That will tighten up your 100 yard group a lot.

@@JoeZelensky Well, first, not all. Velocitor for example is 40gr. 2nd, I'm suggesting slower, not faster. Just like a pellet gun, which is even more effected by breaking sound barrier, the best best long range accuracy in a 22 rimfire will generally be achieved with a starting velocity of about 1150fps or less, thereby not breaking the sound barrier at launch or as the projectile slows down downrange. This crossing of the SB tends to destabilize little projectiles. Get it?
