Oh man she did Crimson Queen during the soundcheck too. Beautiful, so happy that you got to witness it twice on the same day Ryan. Happy for you and a bit jealous :P
Damn has Danys voice gotten stronger in the last few years, she's worlds better live then she was with power and range thats pretty darn impressive........of course she was a frigging teenager before with a constantly changing voice, lol, and her musicianship and creativity was never in question she just had to grow into her voice. But NOW? She's a take no.prisoners totally ass kicking frontwomam with the voice and the attitude and talent to lead the band through arenas all the way to stadiums.
As a 68 yr young lover of classic rock, i say forget the Beatles, led Zep, etc! These girls are fresh, original, and imho blow all away! Cant wait to get their albums and to see them live!
We were fortunate enough to get invited by Rudy to their soundcheck in Houston last year. I had never seen them live before that. The loudness and clarity of their sound was amazing. Ale's bass and Pau's drums are more thunderous in person. They played Money first then also.
Imagine my surprise! And then I had to go back outside with everyone waiting to get in for M&G and I couldn’t tell them that they were about to hear Crimson Queen live, and that it was a solo version to boot!
At 28:14 Dany was a expecting a bad ass scream from Pau. The scream: aaasaaw That's why Pau is my personal favorite of the band 😍 Thanks for shared this video, i really injoyed it.
Very enjoyable and great sound!! Funny to see how laid back Ale is doing the songs and being on her mobile when waiting, typical GenZ (have a daughter like that). Dany not holding back vocally and the banter between the three. Nice "behind the scene"! Hope they will soon be able to go to Europe too. Thanks Ryan!
cool bass chords when bassist was warming up for a few seconds. Hearing what people play when not doing the scheduled songs can be revealing about what direction their music might go in the future
Very interesting on how a band does a sound check and the obstacles they have to deal with concerning venue acoustics and equipment set up among other things.
Ryan, first of all thank you very much for recording. second.. the chelle roberson person in the comments has trolled TW and TWA before. Whoever they are, they're just looking for a reaction. Don't let the picture or name fool you. You have my vote if you want to block them.
Dani: ready to play biker bar Pau: dark haired Kate Hudson in Almost Famous Ale: best John Entwhistle impression Still gorgeous and talented - I cannot lie.
I was hanging around in the Machine Shop between sound check and meet and greet. Rudy and Ale bought a bunch of venue merch. Ale actually wore one of the shirts at that show. I’ve seen both of them wear their merch several times since then.
Hey Ryan, thank you very much for taking the trouble to film the soundcheck and then share it with us. I know even a cell phone can get heavy over time. 😉 I wish you a lot of fun at the second show at the Troubadour tonight. 🤘
She needs to practice her vocals, and decide to commit to becoming really good first. But agreed, likely first step will be as invited singer for (top jazz group) like Postmodern Jukebox. I would love to see her play the upright bass, maybe bring it back to Warning?😊
Gracias x esto q grandes son unicas q sensillas son y lo vien q se yeban todos veo mucha union entre ellos pero son lo mas en el rock las mejores de las suerte se lo merecen saludos desde Argentina👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you Ryan for the post. This is really nice. Unfortunately, I can't afford the Ultimate level on Patreon. I would without a second thought if I could. 👍 This is really cool 😎and "Worth it's weight in gold" 🪙. My first TW concert was the 2nd night at the Troubadour, I had a VIP pass and they signed a poster I made, and I got to see AC perform Enter Sandman with them. Great first TW concert.
Man! I forgot how tedious sound checks are! It still amaze's me how these 3 can fill the stage with sound with only 3 instruments! Dany is a master at multi-tasking....it's not easy singing AND switching from strummed chords to single string runs AND managing her peddle board, all with out loosing pitch! And getting a bit superficial here, while all three ladies are extraordinarily attractive, Dany is so effortlessly beautiful, it's breath taking. She is the total package! I am sure glade they're not MY daughters! I'd be a nervous wreck!
Tocan tan bien en el shoundcheck como en vivo que yo pagaría por asistir al soundcheck y así disfrutar de un espectáculo privado y sin perder detalle. 😎😎😎😎👌👌
I've been curious if Dany is currently being endorsed by Mesa Boogie for her cabinet? I know she rocked Orange amps, but lately I'm seeing her with a Mesa 4x12 with her mini Orange amp.
Having seen several hundred different bands do or not do sound checks, these young ladies are the exception. The best I ever saw was Kiss of all things. They broke into Who's Next. Not what I or the front of house mixer was expecting. But apparently they were thinking about using one of the songs as an encore tune. They didn't that night but it showed me they were better musicians than they got credit. Put on a great show. This was mid 80s btw. The sound check is often performed by the techs rather than the artists. As has been demonstrated a zillion times the techs are good. And motivated as this is generally the only time these often frustrated musicians get to play. See UA-cam techs for various bands. Bass tech for Pantera, a couple of drum techs and a couple of guitar techs all post clips of them playing. So generally sound check sucks. Endless " check one. Check one. Check one." Endless Tom hits. These young ladies are still well young. Not jaded. One of the reasons I love the band.
That’s what the concert is for lol. Half the fun of soundcheck is watching everything that goes on with the team. I wish I had three cameras and six arms to record it all.
@@ryankieth1675 Thank you i thought they were referring to a friend. Now i know. And thank you for the upload. The Troubador is another feather in their musical cap.

Well, one and a half times anyway. When I saw the acoustic guitar off to the side I was keeping my fingers crossed for that song.

Pau's "Wahhh" matches the laid-back, sunglasses LA attitude perfectly.

When Pau was doing all dem drum head hits at the 30 min mark I half expected u guys to break out into a We will We will rock you chant! Shoulda!
exactly what I'm thinking LMAO
There is an older video from an open air concert where they start with that Queen song.

For such a famous venue the stage looks pretty shabby. And why can’t they install a projector and screen for the backdrop? They’re not that expensive.
OK Dany needs to incorporate those robot moves into the show
