I've had a lot of requests for that and want to. The challenge is that all the comparisons I do always keeps my displays in shambles. I really need to dedicate some time to reorganizing everything, but this would be a good motivation to do that.
I might pick him but to me, I really want to get my 3 favorite Green Lanterns which are Hal Jordan, Jon Stewart, and Kyle Rayner because those 3 look awesome as a trio to save our planet from Sinestro and Atrocitous, Fantastic review Jason.
I feel like the hair should be brown instead of black, with grey only on the sides and not the back. The lantern and hands also shouldn't be translucent.
BTW are you also gonna review the earth 2 batman Thomas wayne figure soon after you're done with the batman hush blue and gray variant figure reviewing?
Great review and I'm still looking for this figure too, I'm loving the Green Lantern figures McFarlane is putting out. I'm not a fan of the color change tho, the Jordan and Stewart figures have the right color of green in my mind. As for finding this guy, I haven't seen him yet here on the west coast - it maybe that I already missed him here.
Also, I would love to see a more classic Hal Jordan Green Lantern with the awesome looking Dawnbreaker 2 pack Hal Jordan head sculpt as single release along with 2 fisted hands and some constructs from McFarlane.
Another completely awesome review. Parallax is my favorite DC character so why did it have to be a Walmart exclusive? I've ransacked and combed thru 8 Walmarts with no luck luck yet. So far I'm standing strong against the unscrupulous secondary market jackals but I have to tell you, it's killing me.
This is an awesome-looking figure! I don't love the look of the stylized mid-ribcage cut though, it really should be under the pecs to hide under the armor better. It's like McFarlane's new "Bucky Cap" body mold. If it fits the sculpt, that's fine, but with a plain torso, it just breaks up the sculpt too much and doesn't provide enough articulation to make it worthwhile.

Fair point. Part of it is that I mostly only buy figures I want, so I get a lot fewer duds than reviewers who do everything. Still, always looking for that sweet spot between being fair and being generous.
Yeah. Luckily, I sold a bunch of BAF pieces earlier in the day so it really only cost me $23 out of pocket, which is pretty much retail. That's how I justified it anyway lol
The painting of this figure detracts so much from the source material, that for me it becomes a complete deal breaker. 1- It doesn''t have the white stripes of the arms, which shows very little attention to detail. 2 - It's the wrong shade of green, Too dull, should be brighter. 3- It lacks the graying (much closer to white) at the temples. What it has, is barely perceptible. 4- The cape lacks the pattern with the circles at the end. Check the cape in any stories from the 90s, Emerald Twilight, Zero Hour, Final NIght. Why not paint that? It's a shame, because it's a character I so want a figure of, but I'm not willing to try my hand at painting it. I just shouldn't have to. Also, it should be taller. Very disappointed. NOT buying it.
Emerald Twilight was one of those stories that really stuck with me from my youth. I can’t wait to get this guy.
Yeah, that story was my introduction to Hal Jordan, so I have been very excited for it.

That's really awesome. I'm personally hoping for 90's Kyle, a more classic Hal than the two pack version, and a Kilowog.

It's definitely a dark brown moreso than black, but it could be lighter for sure.

The new Booster Gold and Blue Beetle make me hopeful we will start seeing more classic versions of characters.
never really been a lantern fan but that is a pretty good looking figure. my biggest thing is the lack of grey on the temples otherwise very nice 🤘

I love the format, but you should be harsher. I.E. giving out 0 points in categories instead of 0.5. Seems like 90% of your reviews end in 4.5/5s
