- Watching the April 8 2024 Total Solar Eclipse over my hometown in Dayton, Ohio! I went to my local park to get a good view of the eclipse and I had the park to myself! I got lots of great shots and it was an amazing experience. This is my first time experiencing a solar eclipse and it is something I won't forget anytime soon. Truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Great video! It surprised me there werent more there at that nice park to watch that! Its a good thing it wasnt cloudy and rainy.
Considering all the hotels in town sold out, I was pretty surprised. I'm not complaining, though! 😂

I got a 99.8% solar eclipse, and even though it wasn’t total (just by a teensy bit), it is a moment I will always remember. That’s such a cool video and all your videos are great! It’s unbelievable that more people haven’t heard about this channel!

It got dim like you were wearing sunglasses but there was no real sunset

Aww, that's a bummer. Well, the good news is there will be another one in Ohio. The bad news is it won't be until 2099. 😂

There’s actually gonna be one in 2044, and then the next year in 2045, then quite a couple decades later, in 2078, and finally in 2099
Or I guess in either year, and then yeah, like you said, Ohio will get one in 2099 so it’s really an experience to be treasured.

I was in the path of totality at a friends place. Unfortunately is was cloudy, but when it happened, it still got so dark out. The peepers and bats came out!
No bats near me. That's so cool! Bummer the clouds were in the way!
I was at the national Air Force Museum today. It was honestly amazing. It was the first eclipse that I’ve ever gotten to see in my entire life. It was something surreal.
It bet that was a cool place to watch it!
It was! we went through the museum and ate some barbecue from a food truck and then watch eclipse and try to get out the traffic directors didn’t know a thing of what they were doing so we sat in the car for an hour and 20 minutes before we even moved 10 feet, so that was great

Yeah! I’ve also seen it once in the sunrise and it’s very vibrant cause we Ohioans get some pretty vibrant sunrises.
