I used your rx570 settings for like a year! it worked flawlessly. i got a bit cocky an raised it a bit too much an it fried my card lol. Just a warning to people out there. Even if it acts like it can handle it, don't push it farther than this tutorial because it will result in a failure. I ended up buying an rx580 so it's all good now. Thank you for this tutorial it helped so much!
Thanks for the words man, but this tutorial will never fry a gpu, if that happen was because of a semi faulty psu, or just some faulty component in the card sadly

@@AncientGameplays it might have just been faulty like you said. Msi cards like the one i had seem to always have a fault. You said something about how some manufactures overvolt their cards to outrageos amounts to make sure they can get as much of them as possible to work. I bought an xfx card and it was way lower in pre set voltage despite being slightly factory overclocked. I've had msi products die on me so much in the last 5 years. I don't know if they have low standards or what.

Months ago I tried to just reduce the temps and noise of my aorus Rx 570 (4gb). With stock frequencies (1280) it's working at 950mv. Reduced 40w at full load without loosing an FPS on furmark. For me, the best configuration at least for summer and keeping temps down. Anyway I'll try this config to see if I get some extra performance without extra noise... Ty for the video, I'll try now with memories too.
hey man, i like this series of yours of overclocking and undervolting at the same time, but how about making it undervolting only? the aim is to find out how less power this card can take with same amount of frequency as the stock value, and maybe try to decrease the power limit - 30% to find out how stable it could be, thanks man, nice quality of video
1 year later and this still helped me I switched to console to pc so is my first build saved up money I have a Ryzen 3 3100 and a xfx rx 570 4gb and 16ram 3200mhz I used to get no more than 400 FPS in unlimited FPS in Fortnite now I get up to 600 FPS managed to get 1350(Mhz) and 1070(mV) good video new sub for sure.

ty, I've got exactly the extra performance that I needed on my RX 570 8GB. Now I can set nearly all game details on highest. This card was probably the greatest deal, was so cheap. I've set VRAM on auto and bumped it to max 2000. And the core I've put on 1400MHz/1090mV. I'm happy with these settings already, maybe I'll only try to undervolt a bit more. Also it says the max/peak power consumption is from previous 130W now to 150W (as reported by the motherboard), which is not that much more power consumption at all. I think I got like 15% more performance.
@@nitta9892 It is max 75°C at around 20°C ambient temperature (in summer it would probably hit around 80°C). Then the stock fan config cools it, so the temp doesn't get higher. My case has ok and simple airflow config also, 2 front intake fans through simple mesh and 2 exhaust fans on top-rear.
Quick question: Should you overclock your core before you mess with the Memory timing levels? Or should you try to OC the core with Memory timing level 2? Appreciate the video!

@zalllrn OC works at my MSI with 1350 MHZ @1010 mV. Ram OC @2000 Mhz. No crashes, max. Temp with finetuned Fan-Speed 65 Centigrade (Grad Celcius) and round about 5-10 FPS more.

bruh i did the timing things and my gpu literally farted and something happened with the bios.. Idk but its working somehow now the bios is oke, but last time drivers wouldnt detect card. Luckily i have a 2 bios card. Managed to install the drivers back on the other bios. When i switch back on the broken bios, it also works with the drivers... edit: i have the sapphire nitro

Btw guys, on xfx cards memory overclocks can be extremely unstable also, the core clock can't go that high, I am at 1360 mhz at 1090mv, my memory is 1760mhz at 900mv. If you overclock and you get a blue screen it is most likely that it was unstable and your driver corrupted, if your driver corrupts then it causes unstable frame times on Microsoft store games. If this happens then don't uninstall the driver in task manager, use ddu if you do it in task manager then there will be reminents of the corrupted driver left. If you blue screen after overclocking, don't be stressed is only a hardware failure if your gpu temps were super high when you crashed
Just found out something about those sapphire pulse cards, even tho the stock voltage is set to 1150, that's not actually what is pumped through the card if you set it to default, the card will undervolt automatically, for example my pulse itx runs at 1244mhz stock and 1050v, that's why you have higher power consumption even tho you technically lowered the voltage. You can test it with voltage monitoring during gameplay.
and no the frequencies will not matter that much, and for the power limit, the card wasn't throttling during the stock test, try and put the voltage manually to 1150mv and it will throttle like crazy with default power limit.
idk if you remember me probably not but i was wondering about an xfx rx 570 in the other comparison video between rx 570 rx 580 my gpu came today and my temps were 79-86c degrees in gta after playing for around an hour after some undervolting i went from 1150mv stock to 1010mv and my temps were 66-73c thanks man im currenlty enjoying ur content more than ever

I was able to get my red devil RX 570 stable at 1425 core clock with 1060 core voltage... 2250 memory clock on 1000 voltage. Memory timing level 2... This card overclock so well

Dont buy msi for amd...get always sapphire if possible. Then xfx (only for rx 5000 series and above) and then msi and only top models

You leave everything like in the video, but you choose a frequency and try the lowest voltage with that frequency

I have the 8GB RX 570 from XFX it gets very hot with the 1300 or 1350 clock reaches 77 degrees until it goes beyond that. I'm brazilian
77C is not "very hot", a little hot, but nothing astonishing, also, XFX sucks in terms of cooling..

idk if you remember me probably not but i was wondering about an xfx rx 570 in the other comparison video between rx 570 rx 580 my gpu came today and my temps were 79-86c degrees in gta after playing for around an hour after some undervolting i went from 1150mv stock to 1010mv and my temps were 66-73c thanks man im currenlty enjoying ur content more than ever

Hey man, i didn't "ignore" anything. I simply have a life, and lots of comments and i try to answer the most i can. Some people don't understand that.
1 - Hard to know, that can be many things, such as MSI afterburner
2 - Sapphire, Red Devil and Gaming X

I was able to get my red devil RX 570 stable at 1425 core clock with 1060 core voltage... 2250 memory clock on 1000 voltage. Memory timing level 2... This card overclock so well
