Very simplified, well explained and understandable video! Great job! :D
***** You're very welcome! ^_^
Great animation and characters here! 👌
Question: can't anyone listen what's being sent by the proxy to the recipient, after he decrypts the message? 😮
good video except you left it as a metaphor and didn't relate all of the interactions to their real world counterparts and how it works on an actual computer and the internet
This is amazing thanks and can't wait for your future videos
Great explanation!
Awesome video :)
do a video on TOR.
Nice!
What if somebody reads it between the Proxy and the actual receiver of the message ?
wait this explains what a proxy is but not a vpn???
and then there are honey pots

No.
They just track your results by your IP address and sell them to the government.
The government don't need to buy your search history. They can simply ask your ISP for it and they are legally obligated to hand it over. And no, a VPN doesn't stop your ISP from seeing anything.
It's not right that they can do that, but it's the way it is. Google has nothing to do with it.
Contrum
Google can still use your IP address.
Since I am in Texas and my IP address is not, it is an extra layer of protection.
What would they use your IP address for?
Contrum
Google links your IP address to your search results.
