When I seen the ad for this Nscale train … I was amazed at the price… wow! these guys are crazy but you review explains it all. Thanks, Jimmy. I’ll look into it a little more. Also. Drinking my Folgers coffee and I’ve had a cinnamon stick for flavor.
Wow I've worked on the North East Corridor for New Jersey Transit and hearing that train whip around brought back some fun memories. That things sounds amazing Thanks for sharing Jimmy!
They already have rocks in their heads. Did you ever see the Dinasor cartoon, where the one was going to open the dome. The other Dianasor said don't open that, there's nuts in there.
Dear Jimmy, cool locomotive, love the ‘review.’ If this will become Atlas’s new sound system standard, they most definitely made a promising step forward!! Would be cool to see and hear what the motion feature means for the thru traffic experience. Love the detail on this little machine. Beautiful episode! Cheerio
I really like mine. The only thing I don't like is the very limited radii curves it requires. Those B trucks should be able to handle tighter turns but the ladder detail (which is good), heavily restricts it's turning radius. Any of you out there have done anything to correct this or is my loco deffective?
Oh wait! It’s got some Doppler effect? I’ve been saying since I started a couple years ago that they need to add Doppler effect to the horn sounds, like the crossing “macro” to blows long long short long, it should be like you’re actually standing at the crossing, or they should have a setting to switch back and forth. Obviously it won’t be moving that fast all the time for that to make sense.
Having my "usual morning cup"...Wide Awake Coffee House Blend (w/Hazelnut creamer). Thanks for an interesting video. I confess...I once had Bachmann track etc, but since switching to Kato...I've kinda stopped looking at Bachmann. My grandson loves trains, and sees lots of Amtrak's where he lives. As I build my layout I'll have to give this one some thought. I do have a question (2 actually)...1) what kind (manufacturer) of passenger cars were you pulling...2) what kind of connectors did they all have? Connectors are my current bug-a-boo. (Bonus question...do you have a video on your channel that covers "connectors"?...Bonus bonus question...if not...could you make one please?). Have Blessed weekend.
I assume these were Kato passenger cars. I have both Kato and Bachmann Chargers. The Bachmann really stands out. It has so much detail, a state-of-the-art sound decoder and the lighting is unmatched. The days when Bachmann sold crap are gone for good. The new stuff is amazing.
Bachmann has a reputation it is still trying to rid itself of. A reputation for cheap, poorly made and equally poorly running trains. But, they have really improved their offerings (including the Spectrum line of HO steam) regarded by many as some of the BEST HO steam available. These chargers are another example of Bachmann proving Bachmann's critics wrong.
Sorry Jimmy I am unsubscribing due to the advertising and the fact that you are just pushing different locos that are really only available in your part of the world. I have enjoyed travelling with you in the past but you have gone too far for my liking. Good luck for the future.
@@ScarySnowflakes I have been with Jimmy since the early days and have picked up a lot of knowledge from him. I reall wanted him to know why I am leaving. Your remark was uncalled for and arrogant.
I am sorry to see you go. The channel is quite expensive to run and advertising is only way I can continue to keep my videos free to watch. I am sad to see you go, but I completely understand.
I agree with you on the commercials. Others I watch might show a new item, but don't have advertising at the beginning and end too. But I'm going to try and stick it out to see if it gets better. But truthfully I didn't start watching to see what to buy, but to see how someone else does their model trains.
I have never expected this from Bachman...Amazing
Someone in our club got one of these and it looks FLAWLESS

Amazing what they can do with electronics now. Thanks for sharing.

My kids were having their cereal while watching so they called it "milk and trains"
Just rode behind this locomotive on the Coast Starlight!
That has some great sound from an N scale loco....very cool!!
I think that's the fastest I've ever seen a train move around your layout! Lol. Looks awesome.
The speed almost looks like racing cars, not running trains. At full size, that speed would scare bawsu anyone within a block of the tracks.
Bachmann, Atlas, Kato - in that order
Hi Jimmy, I have there SC44 from Bachman!! What passenger car's are you running ?

I've had one of these in via rail paint on advanced reservation for what feels like a year. I hope I get it one day.
Great looking locos!
How do you latch dual throttles together to aid in speed matching? I cannot find your video where you showed that a while back

Totally cool! Drinking Columbian coffee with moca mint

Amazing and right now, 45% off on Amazon - $266
I want one but the price tag is a little to much for me
Wow how do I get rid of the live caption?

Interested to see a comparrison with the Kato versions....
I enjoy your video so much
Do you use Adobe Premiere Pro for your video editing?
I wish all N scale sound that good, I’d switch from O scale to N.
Very cool 👍🏻
Bachmann steam locomotives are better than anything out there.
Now they need to make one in brightline paint scheme 😬
I would buy that sooo fast
The Bachmann one is nice, HOWEVER, I'd prefer if my trains didn't speak...

@3:02 Barack Obama?
All sold out...
I would try some other places. I link Factory Direct Hobbies because they are local to me.

This is not an airport, no need to announce your departure.
