Nice video, gives a little taste of the opera's magnificence, one of my top 5 favorites. the choral sections are staggering live, and the orchestration marvelous. Berlioz never saw a complete version performed before he died in 1869.
Bravi! Bravi Tutti! A encenação de "Les Troyans" sob a batuta do Maestro Antonio Pappano no Royal Opera House é fabulosa, estupenda!
Went to the prom performance at the Albert Hall, despite some unevenness in the singing it was one of the best concerts I've ever attended, spellbinding from beginning to end, Pappano was outstanding as a Berlioz conductor - despite it's 5+ hours I wished it would go on longer such was the excitement of the evening!
Couldn't imagine a better introduction to Les Troyens. Thank you so much for uploading.
This is good. I am going to see it at the Proms this afternoon.
what a fine tenor!
my compliments top the pianist
Bryan is even more impressive heard live!
