It looks incredibly stunning! Your method of using the watercolor makes it so easy to follow, and the brushstrokes are incredible, which makes it so astonishing. The color tone is so mesmerizing to the eye. Your technique of mixing the water and the paint is so elegant that it has the perfect brightness and darkness of the color. Overall, it is marvelous.

Wow, that’s beautiful. I got into oil painting for a few months a number of years ago and really enjoyed it, but I didn’t stick with it. I love the portability of water color painting verses oil painting, so I may give this a try. I just retired, so this could be a great new hobby for me, and you make it look very doable. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial and for sharing your wonderful artistry with us! I was wondering, what watercolor paints do you use? I currently am a beginner with watercolor(I usually paint with gouache or acrylic), but have been using the Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors. They're wonderful for playing around with the medium and learning, but I've been doing endless research on professional or artist grade colors, and I can't seem to choose! They all have their own sets of pros and cons. Thank you again!

Took a Bob Ross painting class almost 20 years ago in high school. Just happened to be in the dollar store about a week ago saw some watercolor paints in tubes? Grabbed some cheap brushes and a small pack of canvas boards. Had so much fun recreating this. Picked up better set of brushes since then. Also need recommendations on water colors as well. Great vid!!

Thank you I really enjoyed watching this and I'm going to give it a try...so, when you lifted up your masking tape did you let that 1st part of your painting dry overnight first? or for a few hours I would be so worried that I'm going to mess it up with the masking tape...??

Loved this tutorial ! What kind of paper are you using ? The texture seems to be so fine which looks soo good for the water a mist. Didn’t turn out quiet as silky with my textured paper. ✨🙏

I've recently expanded my media from pencil, charcoal to pastel, ink, and water color.
I use many of the same techniques in each media.
It is the touch as much as anything else.
Watercolor offers much in the way of creativity. His approach was my thought as I began Watercolor. Water lightens, pigment darkens.
Blending, shading, light, shadows, tone, all the same light, soft touch of love in every stroke.
