The crouch glitch was discovered in a different source engine game, Half Life 2, back in 2011. So even longer than that!
But Half-Life 2 is Singleplayer...

@@halftime919 This post is 3 years ago. AND HL2 and TF2 run on the same game engine, if you can do a glitch in one, you are likely to be able to do it in another. Its running on the same universe logic e.g. the way gravity works, etc.

They fixed the teleport exploit by...removing the spell from the maps? That seems like an incredibly lazy and stupid way to fix it. Could they not be arsed to make an invisible barrier around the perimeter of the map, similar to the one that keeps the teleport spell from going into the enemy spawn? I guess that's just too complicated so they instead decide to remove an ability from the players.
of course, these are the same guys who "fixed" the hitbox lag by nerfing the baby faces blaster to try to get people to not use it and thus the lag wouldn't happen...
Will Racer actually Nobody used the Baby Face anymore for a whole different reason, not because of the lag but the crippling stat of making 25 damage loose all your boost.
And double jumping :P

The Baby Faces Blaster was broken pre-nerf. Aslong as you didn't jump outside of battle your fine. Post-nerf all you had to do was sneeze on the scout to make them lose the boost. Did I get your comment? They could update the engine to make the hitbox easier to hit or faster or something.

I still miss some of the old exploits. Being able to do the crouch glitch easily by just crouching and jumping before the animation ending, allowing you to clip through ceilings to place buildings or other things. That and being able to stay wherever you were after the round ends, whether it be at mid when the round starts, the enemy spawn, allowing you to spawn camp them until you died yourself, or just being outside the normal areas.

Hey delfy heres an exploit: what you need: a non moving infinite taunt (Like rancho or pool party) and a server with an idle kick to spectate.|| breakdown: If you sit in idle taunt for long enough to be kicked to spectate it sets your team to some third team which lets you deal damage to anyone.
you should try the invinite uber exploit with a full team ;)
not only is it fixed, but it takes 2 people so the most you can do is with half a team.
Purple Comedy well, you can do full team -1 medic.
You need one medic per person, you cant uber more than one person at once with one medic,
but you can uber them 1 by 1, so eventually only one guy will be left without uber.

Ah, the nostalgia. Also, the instance of the infinite uber exploit shown there isn't the first one: a lot earlier, a medic could keep infinite uber on himself as long as he does not switch back to his medigun.

There was an exploit where stickies could go through walls (mostly corners) if you maxed out it's charge time.
Too bad you missed including the old taunt-kill while stealthed (bug, feature?) that Spy had in years passed. That was great fun while it lasted.

i liked the being invisible spy and sap exploit
that laser exploit should be a game mode.
Where you capture points to fire a giant laser down the center of the map, hurting only the enemies towards a protection node.
Get all 4 points laser to hit the node and you win. However the laser can be blocked with careful planning via uber, shields or airblasts, or sacrifice yourself.
Seeing that heavy disappear by that pompson/bison spam was horrifying

The Teleport spell was really awesome, exploits aside. How many spells were there in the beginning? Like a dozen? Now you've got four, all of the fun ones that made Halloween interesting are gone.

i had a glitch that made me almost immortal. You could only kill me as spy(backstab), sniper(headshot) or pyro(fire).
One year after i had that glitch i got it again.
It was so fun because i could stand before 5 enemy sentries and kill everyone.
I don´t know how i got the glitch.
I found a minor glitch. If you pick up a crit cola (already having the Bonk equipped) then pick up your bonk, the crit cola will turn into a Bonk.

I met Delfy on Suijin on Friday. He did jack shit and we all kept killing him even though he had a Medic 24/7. He started spamming what I'm guessing was Russian slurs. So if anyone thought he was good at the game, think again.

Excuse me for sounding incredulous, but, Delfy is Russian. You're not going to find him on other servers. If you have to assume that they're "Russian slurs" then you're most likely not in Russia, and most likely you are gullible to impersonators.

The introduction of casual mode has made it incredibly unlikely to ever join a server out of your region, and it's been that way for the last few months, which is important to note because...
Russia is part of the Russia server region, and the UK is part of the EU West server region.
I am still incredulous because you haven't actually listed any explanations why you'd think it was Delfy.
MoltonMontro Ok, I will give you why I'd think it was Delfy. He was called Delfy | 7corners, his pocket medic was called Delfy's little helper, he clearly had a Russian keyboard, he had a Max's head and a Scorching Safe 'N' Sound and most importantly : he had a Golden Wrench.

My favourite exploit was the invincible sapper. During the team truce against the Monoculus on Eyeaduct in 2016 a spy can put sappers on enemy buildings and it couldn't be removed. It was the funniest thing to to laugh at a herd of gibus engineers furiously try to remove the sappers.

There's still 1 exploit that has never been discovered since 2007 and I'm the only person in TF2 who knows it.

To this day, the entire red team is still trapped behind a god damn door...
I know one exploit where you can plant a Tele in Setup time in Control Points maps as engi and when time of Setup is up and you're back at spawn to wait for RED teams' setup and you can teleport out of spawn at this time with the Effect. You can cap the points at RED teams' setup and it will add time to the setup adding 5 mins to time and your team is trapped in spawn until time is up. You can even win the game by capping both two points and your team will still be trapped. But it's fixed by no setup time for all Control Points maps.
I laughed so hard when the narrator sweared at the end like nothing happened 😂
