I suppose nobody could have seen the divorce coming. Apart from everyone who watched them belittle and insult each other for years. It starts as a comic act but it always felt mean spirited.
I didn't realise that they were divorcing. That makes this "comedy" even less amusing than I'd previously thought. Very sad news for them and their daughter.
Her "humour" was always grounded in contempt. Jon's didn't seem like it was.
Wonderful that you’ve both found the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your lives!
Kats little world
Kats little world
Uhh about that
👀
I actually liked this. From the reddit comments and the comments underneath, you'd think it was bad but it was fine. I think working together and living together will just take its toll especially with 2 such irritable people. Such is life.
It did.
Oh man, completely hilarious 🤣
Love our ull bods...if your of from Hull you won't have a clue what I quoted
My wife and and I are very similar to these two. I must confess I share most of Jon's foibles
Jon’s better off with out her, she’s jealous of his wit
that's all that Jon has to be fair
So, how's that marriage going?
😆
Divorce? or marriage counseling?
Jon has great taste in wives at least
does he have hidden wives? do u know more? lucy isnt a good choice
They need to split up at once!
they have. feels so sad for her.
Toby carvery’s are crap.
There imminent divorce is being filmed for our entertainment.
Do you fancy telling me tomorrow night's lottery numbers?(!)
Nostradamus
Hello from the future
Keep up guys!!!!
6:22 "Catch the final series of Meet The Richardsons before Lucy finally divorces me." And now she's divorcing him.
Ah man too funny. I think this video is spot on hahahaha
is she divorcing him or is he divorcing her?
Her loss...
Well this makes for comfortable viewing now. I'm sure the divorce is cordial.
I love Jon's laughter 😂Please keep his laugh. I would bury Jimmy's laughter.
i love jon and lucy here programe is great and gill fab
This was all a bit prophetic. Very sad
Hahaha. I love them both. What a great couple. Must be so fun around the house. Although I do think things can get to a wildfire at times.
Not sure about that
Jon's saving lint for the weavers to make him a new cardigan.
This explains a lot.
aaaand, they're divorcing 😬
This is too nasty to tolerate. It is not at all funny. Divorce is a good solution.
I pitched the idea of a chaise lounge, his reaction was similar to his, so funny.
Haha I love these two ❤
Doing half of jobs such as lint disposal.
Young Jon wouldn't by reputation, have done that.
Marriage has become a comfort of manners.
Couple are great together however the two (comfort & manners) needs a good balance over
Just get divorced. Seriously. You’re doing more harm than good at this point.
oof
You guys can't get a divorce. It would destroy the world. It might just be my world, but a world nonetheless.
If they carry on running each other down, even in jest it will end in divorce. I give them 4 years .
Grow up mate. It's important that people do what works for them without this adolescent creepiness
@dentistry42 Yeah. Because people are always getting divorced over the size of their husbands nipples.
It's supposed to be funny. You can see they are so secure in their relationship that they can say whatever they like and it won't make a blind bit of difference.
@@dentistry42so do you think they would last longer, if they didn't criticize each other?
Even if this was their real feelings, and not just a gag for TV, airing this stuff out often makes a relationship better.
It's definitely better than burying that shit deep down emotionally, until you just can't take it anymore. These are the relationships that don't last, the ones that can't be honest with each other.
@@PGHEngineer It starts with the nipples, then eventually it ends in divorce, only time will tell
I would love (read: hate) to watch an edit of this without the snappy music. I imagine it would feel painfully bleak
I would love to read a Reddit comment and then copy that because I'm unoriginal into a UA-cam comment
no he seems fine
@@Habdabi they're both me 😅
Poor Lucy needs to show John what that piece of furniture is for
Seriously...the Downtown Abbey. The Oopsie Daisy. The He Said-She Said. He's absolutely missing out.
Being a man with small nipples I will speak on behalf of all the small nippled men of the land. yes we are self-conscious about our small nips. even though there is really no reason for men to have nipples anyway.
We're blocking the M6 on Saturday: Nipple Extinction
What's Lucy got then, bath plugs?
Small nipped men are just more highly evolved.
Lucy Beaumont is one of my Top 3 Annoying Things.
you must be a bit of a humourless prick then.
Mine too she’s as slack as a bag of Knackers 😂😂😂
If even half of how they carry on was true, they would be divorced.
uhm...
As a Yank, I had to google Toby Cavery and then laughed for five minutes. Thank you!
The leg shaking says it all.
They are both so witty. It’s hard for two funny people to be in a relationship because they’ll try to outwit the other and it can become competitive. Best of luck to both parties
Your comment was deleted so I didn't see much in the notification.
I wonder if psychologically when you're doing this to each other for a laugh it actually could happen 🤔
Why does the inside of her purse or handbag have anything to do with Jon? That blows my mind…
No wonder Lucy divorced Jon
Jon is a patronising ,arrogant, ignoramuses
I wish they were together on the same taskmaster series instead seperate series 🔥
Lucy deserves someone who is ok with toxic waste
eh?
Is Lucy looking for a new pearson, to "not take the trash out"
Free Marriage Counselling via UA-cam is the best.
All too real 😅
Has Jon's voice finally broken in this video?
@1:39 Who does, who wanted the chaise longue
Music……seriously?
There are two perfect couples in the world, one is David Mitchell and Victoria Coren. The other is Lucy Beaumont and Jon Richardson. Love these two.
The most recent WILTY with David & Victoria was hilarious.
i feel so bad that it took me so long to realize who was matched with who
I'm never trusting your judgement 😂😂
Hahahahaha watch out David, burner8589 says you are the perfect couple!!
@@SolOmniaRegit 9 years. more than most.
They love to hate each other.
Life post-divorce isn't always a sad thing. I hope you both find what you need.
Jesus John, you are a real woman's woman.
Hmmmm Toby carvery
Who wants to tune in to watch a couple bickering about trivial things annoying them? Most people already have enough of that stuff in their own lives. I don't get it... I don't get it at all.
When I wrote the above I didn't realise that they were divorcing. That makes this "comedy" even less amusing than I'd previously thought. Very sad news for them and their daughter. I wish them all well.
Whens the final episode of their couples show gonna air
This is straight up awful and uncomfortable.
I mean you lot are even duller and dimmer than people jon and lucy have to put up with just to be on tv, it is upsetting.
no it isn't
Only British people could find this funny, I think.
Or people with sense of humour
You wont need equal amounts of pigment to colour in the venn diagram illustrating the glorius truth behindnyour comments...
2:13 That’s me. I have no idea what I like when it comes to certain things and I’ll freely admit it because I badly want to learn.
I can't tell who's gaslighting whom
Their poor child. This is so beyond the pale. And I have a sense of humor but the lines have gotten too blurred
So Jon doesn't like Lucy because she leaves rotten fruit in her handbag. And Lucy doesn't like Jon because Jon has small nipples.
I think if that's as bad as your relationship gets, you're set for life.
i'm glad they made the decision to split then.
I suspect what we’re witnessing has already been happening in private but I really don’t need them to do this for my entertainment. I’m a child of divorce and this stuff just puts me on edge. I don’t like watching families hurt each other.
Yeah, I agree. None of this was funny, and Lucy was a lot more mean-spirited than was necessary.
Don't take it seriously. It's definitely not as serious as whatever it is you went through.
Cheer up snowflake, winter is almost here. That should keep you from melting.
I do wonder
@@northernsnow6982 Are you sure? A lot of people stay in relationships like this where grievances and jabs are wrapped up in a “joke” to make it acceptable, and if you don’t like it, it’s your fault for being too “sensitive.” I wouldn’t take the sign that they’re still married as a sign that they’re happy. A lot of people just stay committed to dysfunction because that’s what they learned growing up.
Nobody is that good at acting... yikes.
on the plus side after the divorce we can get two different versions of meet the Richardsons, one for the weekend and one for the week. Plus two Christmas specials.
No woman has ever divorced a man because his nipples are too small, so I think they're safe.
@@PGHEngineer when you engineer so hard you forget to human.
Human do a joke.
@@Morgam06when you're such an ape, you aren't at all funny in the first place, and then can't respond with coherent sentences.
Whatever you were trying to say in your original comment, is not a joke. If it is, it's nowhere near to being a good one. There's no need to turn into an ape, to react to a very expectable response to your "joke" that doesn't even come across as a joke.
@@PGHEngineer So it was the lint collection or laugh?
@epsleon I think it was that argument over the correct method to.load a dishwasher. Thats was what ended my first marriage too. My second wife prefers to hand wash cutlery so we get along just fine......
'you won't let me have the heating on' 😮
Please get a divorce, before someone gets murdered.
they are
Lots of soft people, who don't understand life in these comments.
They’re getting divorced mate
@Thomas-ps9qk So what? Why do you care? Did you have money on their relationship? Or are you still under the Christian belief that everyone should be soft, always love each other, and couples should stay married to one another to the end of time?
Some people are talking like these two were the ones who destroyed marriage as we know it, and nobody before them got into a relationship they didn't like. While others are acting like they are the only people who have seen them bickering. As if them noticing was going to change these peoples' lives and how they feel towards each other. Then there are others who are treating this like this was Rihanna and Chris, acting like there needed to be some kind of legal intervention that needed to take place.
This was a marriage between two people. Only those two people truly knew what was going on. So only those two people could fix it or end it. They thought that because of their similar comedy style, they would mesh together. Little did they know their personalities didn't quite click. It happens, as that is life.
What they do with their lives shouldn't affect ours, and we shouldn't assume control of their relationship. That is the action of a soft person who can't handle other people's emotions, let alone their own. That's not exactly the type of person I want to help me with my relationship, especially when they don't know me and they are online strangers.
Oh, no, two people got a divorce. The concept behind divorce has been around longer than the Bible has, so get over it.
@@northernsnow6982 you have issues dude. And what a weird excuse to peddle christophobia.
@Thomas-ps9qk Peoples negative look on divorce is heavily based in Christian beliefs. That is the only reason I mentioned it. Religions that don't follow Jesus Christ tend to support the concept of divorce. It's not some fear I have of Christianity. It's a knowledge I have about divorce in many different religions.
It's funny how you focused on such a small part of my comment that didn't really have much to do with what we were discussing. Yet, I'm the one with issues according to you.
I'm sorry for mentioning Christianity at all. I didn't realise it would completely distract you from everything that was said on the original topic, just because you can't think of anything else when someone says something about religion.
If you would like to discuss the original topic some more, we can. However, I'm done talking about religion.
they would he better together in a divorce. both on screen, he ie always weird
Pro Tip:
Commit these word to memory Jon…
Yes Dear. You’re right Dear.
Lucy mocking a feature of John's body. I hope this is still part of the dumb blonde act she pulls off in their sitcom, because body shaming is not witty.
oh shutup. god knows what you say about women.
If the purpose of this video was to prove that Lucy has wasted 10 years of her life , then well done. Run Lucy run!
I couldn't live with that woman for ten minutes. He won't be living with her for very much longer, I fancy.
It's you not be able to detect humor and the amount of intimacy and love one must have to be able to joke like that. you must be divorced anyway
@@envoltaemla6652 I was thinking what kind of woman would want to live with him anyway 😂 he just hated her cos she's a woman and no other reason and surprise, woman can usually sense that 😬😄
They have been together around 10 years. This is part of their mockumentary show, dear.
This take aged well
@@envoltaemla6652 Oh dear, oh dear.
I'm I the only one who can't stand these two? Don't understand why Channel 4 and Dave are pushing them on us so much?
This is what happens when you marry someone for the career opportunities.
This comment is what happens when someone does not get the context.
Hevs not a real human... He's missing the subtlty of their fooling and the likelyhood of their public and private lives being seperated in some way...
All he sees is opportunism and broken dreams, (like crisps, under bison)
who did??? she's funnier than he will ever be.
