  • After some hesitation I submit this video lecture, bringing up an intricate topic.
    On the one hand, object colour constancy is just a simple matter of fact. On the other hand, as soon as you think about it from a technical point of view, it is quite intriguing.

    I have so greatly enjoyed your atmospheric, astonishing videos! thank you very much, and I am astonished by the questions about light especially related to the rays of purple (i.e. that purple/magenta has no wavelength on the Newtonian spectrum, yet you can produce a "monochromatic" ray of purple in your experimental setup). Have you seen Gopi Krishna Vijaya's paper from 2020 entitled Colour, Wavelength and Turbidity in the Light of Goethe’s Colour Studies ?
