There is no Greater Manchester City Centre, only the City of Manchester. Greater Manchester is county called Greater Manchester Combined Authority, this and the City of Manchester are two totally independent different things. i do not know why people keep getting the two things mixed up.

Well said! Manchester is a city on its own and the capital of Greater Manchester. I count anywhere with an M postcode Manchester and anything else greater Manchester

@@colegriffin4142 At least some one up North agrees, as every one for some reason is classing Greater Manchester as the City of Manchester, where as the City of Manchester is jus that and has it's own Lord Mayor, Greater Manchester is a different thing covering a bigger area than the City of Manchester known as the Greater Manchester combined Authority with it's own Mayor, similar to where I live, you have the City of Birmingham with it's Lord Mayor, and the West Midlands Combined Authority with it's own Mayor, Andy Street with Birmingham being it's capital like Manchester is up North.
