I've been trying to determine what I have in my pile of silky chicks.... I felt great until you said throw all that out the window when it comes to fancy breeds....
Me checking mine and feel upset I have 4 roosters and 1 chicken... I am gonna wait and see.. I hope i dont have whole family of roosters... That would be most unlucky hatch.

I’m not allowed to have roosters where I live either, but I could a no crow collar on my rooster and nobody has complained since.
Crow collars only make it a wee bit quieter. Not very effective unfortunately
