Probably faked then and they put a night vision filter, good catch
Its from the camera. the light from the camera functions as any other light and so shadows are cast but humans and many other animals cant see it only the camera.
the same way visible light cast shadows so does other spectrums of light we just cant see those shadows with our human eyes. The camera uses infrared light which our eyes cannot pick up so although the camera has light to see humans would still have no light and it would be pitch black
