Santos, the law is the law. Your here illegally, you get sent home, no matter how long you've stayed here
The law is the law?
I have questions.
--- -----
Your parents came here illegally about twenty years ago and you were born shortly thereafter. You are now a high school graduate and preparing to go to college. ICE raids your parents home (where you still live) and takes them into custody. An Assistant United States Attorney then seek to deport you parents. You okay with that since you would be heading out on your own to college soon anyway and your parents are here illegally?
--- ---
Your parents (and you) came here illegally about twenty years ago and you were only one year old at the time. You are now a college graduate and, unfortunately, your parents passed away with health issues. ICE raids your home and takes you into custody. An Assistant United States Attorney then seeks to deport you even though you can’t even recall any specifics about your life back in the country where you were born and the only memories you have are of being in the United States. You okay with that since you migrated here illegally?
@2Truth4Liberty your parents knew the ramifications of their activities. They had 20 years to become u.s. citizens and they chose not to. Yes, I'm perfectly fine with that.

You didn't answer the second question.
The law has many stipulations with length if time here, outside of the US And pardons and waivers.
It is Not, according to the law now, enter illegally and deported. As stated, waivers and pardons. With that, unfortunately, each case, each person, must be scrutinized.
The law needs to be made much more concise, firm, and with less loopholes.
Each of your hypothetical you spread throughout this thread has different outcomes according to the current law.
If Congress cannot even pass a budget, nor keep a Speaker of the House, do you really think this will get remedied any time soon. ABSOLUTELY NO!!
Why are you so funny :)
In the term 'Illegal Alien' the key word is Illegal
The left uses language to fit their narrative Illegal alien = Undocumented citizen. Rifle = Assault Rifle.
What does 'illegal' mean if the legal basis is an immoral crime against humanity?

Agreed, illegal. But, is the automatic response deportation? I'd push back.
We must get harder at the border so 'they'd' not feel so comfortable coming here, so there's not 100s of 1000s per day. And I'm not sure what the 'harder at the border ' entails.
Once In, then case by case on the nature of the illegal, their lives in their native country, circumstances, arrest, etc record's Of Course, and so on.
For me and Many Others, Not Automatic Deportation.
If we do that, we're edging towards Code of Hammurabi territory; eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth and I'd Like to think we've civilized ourselves beyond this point.
It it's ok to walk across the boarder. Then why do we have to go through security at airports
The second attorney was not good at her job.
Deporting Obama for Kenia 🇰🇪
That's funny, is he from Kenia?
@@geridannels1701 yup!
These people must go They're here illegally....
must go?
What if it was you?
I have questions.

@@2Truth4Liberty "what if it was me" you ask, I don't intentionally break the law therefore it would never be me.
@@summerrain9796
Do you think all illegal immigrants know all the laws? Is it impossible to believe that some had no intention of breaking any law ( or continue to break any law ) when they unknowingly entered illegally?
When found her eillegally, none should be given the opportunity to come into compliance before forcefully deporting them?
@@2Truth4Liberty I have to be held accountable for laws I break that I am unaware of, so yes, so should them. "Ignorance of the law is no excuse"

"I have to be held accountable for laws I break that I am unaware of"
And you think that's okay?
Do you really think it's constittuional (and okay) to be convicted without having a "mens rea" element (guilty mind) proven?
----
"Ignorance of the law is no excuse"
Show me that in the constitution (federal or your state).
They are not our problem send them home and have them fight for their loved country and make it better.
Am I correct that the second councilor was the Solicitor General? Her almost hysterical delivery and seemingly complete lack of understanding was evident by the exasperated questions of the justices. Is she even qualified to be the Solicitor General?
She is the assistant attorney general. The solicitor general is Ms. Prelogar, a lady whom I don’t like but has excellent litigation skills. The second attorney seems not to have the basic knowledge of a first year law student, which is to shut up when a justice is talking to you.
I love that you don't love Prelogar (I adore her) but you recognize her litigating skills. She is the best at that. No matter how she litigated it, she was going to lose Dobbs.
@@timgriffin3368 Lawyering skills have nothing to do with politics. I’m glad that we both could recognize that😊

Simple here "illegally" thats it; should be no "buts, ands, ifs".

@2Truth4Liberty We do have a legal immigration process to enter our country; laws are in place. It is that simple. And it's ignorant to think that opening the floodgates and encouraging and bringing illegal to our country is somehow sustainable. The problems this Biden administration has caused by open Borders should be pretty obvious by now.
@@2Truth4Liberty with that I will ask you why is traveling beyond the speed limit illegal if no human is injured? Illegal means illegal. You break the law, you suffer the consequences. When a person enters illegally, they disrespect United States laws.
