Mercato Céntrale di Firenze is a place where you can get fresh pasta, fruits, vegetables, coffee, fish, meats & a whole upper floor filled with restaurants and even a cooking school!

No, it's just for tourists, once was a real market, now it's just a fake: it has been destroyed by tourism as the rest of the Florence. Food costs are the double than in other markets of the town and the quality is often low (but ok for foreign tourists...)
