Where's "I Was Wrong", "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", "Brown Eyed Girl", "Wave of Mutilation", and "Sister Christian"? How about ""My Own Worst Enemy" or "The Middle"? "Pretend That We're Dead"? C'mon man, you're leaving out the truly hard songs.
It's very easy for someone to sit back and says blast beats are just "bashing" the cymbal, drum and snare, but in reality to do it whilst staying on beat and doing it for an extended period of time is actually really difficult and requires patience and training. Just like learning a new rudiment or drum beat. Sincerely, someone who has tried blast beats.
bootlegging is collecting overdrive, then when the 4 lane fill comes up, it blocks out a section of the drums. if you keep your overdrive for the whole song, you can skip some very difficult parts and still FC the song
+Aiden McDonald Two things, 1. This is an old list, and was made before iHomer FC'd any of the song that were unFCed at the time, and two, The Violation is a custom, therefore it can't be on the list. Only on-disc songs, DLC songs , and RBN songs can be on these lists. No customs or Double Bass Pedal versions allowed.
Actually, death growls take more skill than actual singing. Why? Because to do it without destroying your lungs you have to already know how to sing. Why do they death growl? Because it's a harsh sound for aggressive music. Much like how thrash metal bands have a certain vocal style to get the "fast and furious" sound out of the music. Different styles require different sounds. Personally, I love all genres of music because of the difference.
great list! I think there are way too many RBN songs now to make a definite list (Chaotrope, All Shall Perish) but I felt like there were a few that should've made the list besides the ones mentioned in the description (and I understand that you made this quickly, no biggie) ptts and farewell mona lisa
Agree with 90% of the list probably.. I would personally have made a list of songs that have been FC'ed and one with songs that havn't. Also maybe seperate pro drum FC's with regular drum FC's. I would personally say that Constant Motion on pro (as an example) could have made it onto that list. Just an idea :)
I agree with a lot of the stuff on this list, but I'm not sure I would've put WatN over YMB and YTwDwY. Sure, it's crazy, but unlike those two, I could actually see someone taking the time to work on it and grind it out. Just my two cents.
th30bfu5cated1 most of them are either metalcore(Mordecai), deathcore(embedded) or progressive rock(Mordecai again). However the song that made it to the top of his list is black metal that being We Are The Nightmare by Arsis. There was also Curse You Men by Emperor but nobody cares about them unless you like Norwegian black metal.
Anyone who calls this screamo has an invalid opinion but I don't get why people are saying this stuff sucks. Like seriously black dahlia murder, behemoth, BTBAM, even job for a cowboy are kickass bands
Probably because this stuff's all on the storefront without much rhyme or reason. In the vanilla song pack, there's precisely 1 death metal track there (being "Visions" by Abnormality), and once you hit the storefront you see a lot of bands that, given the varied pedigree of the vanilla pack, you won't be used to. Plus the preview gives you the noisiest of the noise
+Jacob seller lol he just got new drums finally this year?! I remember back in like 2011 one of the main reasons he started to play keys a lot more (other than being obsessed with captain jack) was that his red pad started missing hits more and more to the point he was having a really rough time with some not so difficult fc's that he would have normally got off of a sightread....
@Nubnut So what you are saying is that if a song had the same beat repeated for the entire song that wouldn't become monotonous? Say a song had a beat with 8th notes on the hi-hat, bass on 1 and 3 and snare on two and four. Simple. Now say that beat is repeated for the duration of the song with little to no variety. That is fun?
I think the thing with packet flier is the intro and drum solo, I'm pretty sure no one has hit the intro in a full run but I think someone has as a tech fc of that part in practice mode but I am almost certain no one has ever fc'ed the drum solo not even as a tech fc
@superQman600 That's close, but not quite it. Bootlegging isn't "taking a break" during the fills, but timing your overdrive use so that a fill will purposefully cover up a particularly hard part. Hence why some songs can be bootlegged, while others can't (for example, neither of the Working Man versions can be bootlegged, because the only truly hard part cannot be covered by a drum fill).
I totally forgot about Young Man Blues. I was kinda confused for a second there when I saw that come up. XD Anyways, nice list. Glad Spinning Wheel got up there too. ^_^
Solid list. I would've put Bled to be Free and Guns of Summer a little higher for how sporadic and crazy they are. I also would've included Visions and Obfuscation
I know but what bothers me about these songs is that there's no rhythm to them. I don't understand the liking for these songs but if you do and like them then that's awesome. As long as you enjoy them then I couldn't care less.
+Andrew Ryan Funny that you mention that there's no rhythm! Most of those songs have actually a pretty complex rhythm (depending on the sub-genre of course). But I do agree that they are very hard to find. It took me while to get into that type of music
Full Combo, Means you get 100% in the song and never break your notestreak. Your notestreak at the end of the song has to be the same as the amount of notes in the song. (meaning you hit 100% of the notes without overstrumming or overhitting)
Any song with gravity blasts has to be on there (your treachery will die with you) simply because I don't think any gravity blast sections can even be hit with even the best of kits.
@AtheneWon360 There's no way of watching the videos of some of them, because they don't exist any more, if they ever did. HomelessCarl/CorruptedHomeless's account was closed before this video was made (if memory serves), for example.
Can someone please explain to me what bootlegging is? I mean, I know most lingo and I used to be a big rock band fan but I don't understand what bootlegging is. Thanks!
It says in the video description that the user made the list in about 5 minutes, so I suppose he took the first video of every song in the list he found instead of looking for the fc... That's what I think lol
I agree completely with you, but the hardest song he even got to GS (not that he hasn't FC'ed a bunch of songs) is Creatures ov Deception. That is not extremely diffucult to pass or get 4 or 5 stars. But you gotta give him credit for GSing it. :D
@Mastersturm Well songs with one drum beat are fun to play because well, they have one beat. Songs like Modern Mathematics, We are the Nightmare etc. etc. are some of the most varied and unique songs in all of Rock Band. Now who's the one making no sense? P.S. @CaptainHollyShort Pay attention to the charting of the reds at the beginning of the song, they don't line up with the bass hits making it the ultimate test of high speed limb independence.
Not FC'd (yet...) yeah, they're all waiting for me to own them xD Also, what does "bootlegging" mean? I don't know 'cause I'm a complete noob, I know, and thank you
At 1:18 I thought that was a real ad.
Lego Boy for me, this is even makes sense since i use adblocker...
Where's "I Was Wrong", "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", "Brown Eyed Girl", "Wave of Mutilation", and "Sister Christian"? How about ""My Own Worst Enemy" or "The Middle"? "Pretend That We're Dead"? C'mon man, you're leaving out the truly hard songs.
flyingburritodog So True. Don't forget 'Eye of the Tiger'!
flyingburritodog brown eyed girl is so easy though
flyingburritodog you guys obviously never tried psyhokiller. Balls deep even in hard mode
flyingburritodog Cool for Cats is INSANE on easy mode
What do you guys mean
29 fingers is the hardest song on drums... PERIOD
Its funny going back to this video because iHomerx360a knocked out most if not all of the Un-FCed songs lol
+Simon Cole he didn't get all, apparently there were 3 left and then mazegeek got chaism so there are 2 i think
+11volcano jesus mazegeek still plays?? that kid must be incredivble now days...he was amazing 4-5 years ago. so was ihomer.
+nate zebra he got drums in like june and now has fcd some of the hardest songs on drums and pro keys
Wonder what kind of drugs the drummers’ were on to even create these charts and be able to play them in the first place
bootlegging is collecting overdrive, then when the 4 lane fill comes up, it blocks out a section of the drums. if you keep your overdrive for the whole song, you can skip some very difficult parts and still FC the song
iHomerx360a FCd modern mathematics. And also shouldn't the Violation by fleshgod apocalypse be on there?
+Aiden McDonald Two things, 1. This is an old list, and was made before iHomer FC'd any of the song that were unFCed at the time, and two, The Violation is a custom, therefore it can't be on the list. Perfect list! Thanks for taking the time to make this man!
Anyone noticed Penelope McQueen showed for 3 clips in this video from #25, #23, and #22? Because I do.
great list! I think there are way too many RBN songs now to make a definite list (Chaotrope, All Shall Perish) but I felt like there were a few that should've made the list besides the ones mentioned in the description (and I understand that you made this quickly, no biggie) ptts and farewell mona lisa

RHCPFL3A I see you everywhere
was t just me or did anyone else try to click the X on the ads XD
I agree with a lot of the stuff on this list, but I'm not sure I would've put WatN over YMB and YTwDwY. Sure, it's crazy, but unlike those two, I could actually see someone taking the time to work on it and grind it out. Just my two cents.
Spliced together 2 seperate sections. There's a blank spot with a couple not-so-difficult sections that's been cut out, hence the fade.
The Awkward Moment when that "Ad" Pops up during a video
Ha, I thought it was mine xD
Nice video, and I found interesting that you wrote the names of the first FC'ers.
This also shows how amazing death metal drummers can be, as most songs on this list are death metal.
Did anyone else think their mouse was possessed at some point?
Am I the only one who notices almost all songs in this video has that blue + kick and red style???
Thats what all the hard songs have now. And if you cant hit them you will kost likely not be able to play them
Most of the songs are metal of some sort, so blasts like that are common
th30bfu5cated1 most of them are either metalcore(Mordecai), deathcore(embedded) or progressive rock(Mordecai again). However the song that made it to the top of his list is black metal that being We Are The Nightmare by Arsis. K McAlpine What about This Is Exile by Whitechapel and Hammer Smashed Face by Cannibal Corpse
Israel Roblox
This Is Exile is Deathcore but Hammer Smashed Face wasn't even on the list.
Bootlegging means that you deliberately save your overdrive instead of activating it so the OD fills cover up hard parts of the song.
Anyone who calls this screamo has an invalid opinion but I don't get why people are saying this stuff sucks. Like seriously black dahlia murder, behemoth, BTBAM, even job for a cowboy are kickass bands
+My school is terrible between the buried and me
+My school is terrible the whole album is amazing dude

what a throwback
+Jacob seller lol he just got new drums finally this year?! Young man blues
2011: Wow, that song is really balls hard
2016: (mazegeek) Welp, i think, i FCed this song 14-15 times already
@Nubnut So what you are saying is that if a song had the same beat repeated for the entire song that wouldn't become monotonous? Say a song had a beat with 8th notes on the hi-hat, bass on 1 and 3 and snare on two and four. Simple. Now say that beat is repeated for the duration of the song with little to no variety. That is fun?
hey.do ur shorts have pockets? (during the treachery will die with you video)
i think i have the same shorts =P
I think the thing with packet flier is the intro and drum solo, I'm pretty sure no one has hit the intro in a full run but I think someone has as a tech fc of that part in practice mode but I am almost certain no one has ever fc'ed the drum solo not even as a tech fc
All these fucking blast beats and then Rush out of nowhere.
+TheProgGuy ikr lol. I know that song is hard but was not expecting it to be here.
+TheProgGuy It's because of the roll at the end.
descend into eternal pits of possession should be in the top 10
@superQman600 That's close, but not quite it. Bootlegging isn't "taking a break" during the fills, but timing your overdrive use so that a fill will purposefully cover up a particularly hard part. Hence why some songs can be bootlegged, while others can't (for example, neither of the Working Man versions can be bootlegged, because the only truly hard part cannot be covered by a drum fill).
Can u make a list of hardest drums excluding RBN songs?
I love how Carson has fc'd almost the entire top 10 since this video was made. Pure awesomeness must have made a baby with Neil Peart.
It would help if you had time stamps in the description section that linked to every song.
Mad, are these all considered hard even today? Some of the things I've seen players accomplish since I quit are insane
@MyCoolboy17 i think he means in one run, not in practice mode by sections
quadriple kick demo II??
uuunala it's only official, not custom
Plus it's pretty much impossible
These charts are like the biggest middle finger to Rock Band players. They make Visions sound like a nursery rhyme!
How many bps is 14 - working man (beats per second)
Through the freestyle sections?
So #14 and #13 were on RockBand3?
8:24 how does a bass play that high?
Sno Coke it's a metal bassist that actually tries for once
I totally forgot about Young Man Blues. I was kinda confused for a second there when I saw that come up. XD
Anyways, nice list. Glad Spinning Wheel got up there too. ^_^
Solid list. I would've put Bled to be Free and Guns of Summer a little higher for how sporadic and crazy they are. I also would've included Visions and Obfuscation
That's just a demonstration of the part which makes that particular song hard to FC.
Congrats, have that invisible medal!
funny how ihomerx360 got to fc most of these songs by now, and just when everyone thought that We are the nightmare was impossible he got it.
How can someone have a fast enough left hand for Numb and Intoxicated?
Most of these songs are considered 'music'?
+Andrew Ryan some people have a different taste in music then you
I know but what bothers me about these songs is that there's no rhythm to them. I don't understand the liking for these songs but if you do and like them then that's awesome. As long as you enjoy them then I couldn't care less.
Andrew Ryan i don't like this type of music but still let people have there taste.
+Andrew Ryan Funny that you mention that there's no rhythm! Most of those songs have actually a pretty complex rhythm (depending on the sub-genre of course). But I do agree that they are very hard to find. It took me while to get into that type of music
+Andrew Ryan listen to bleed by meshugah the polyrythyms are insane
fc mean full combo?
@machetemonkey i guess..but on songs involving alot of blasting people use the drum fills for breaks because it gets tiring
He FC'd This Is Exile around 3 months ago, and more recently FC'd Young Man Blues and The Camera Eye, but this video was made 1 year ago.
What does it mean to FC a song on Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
Full Combo, Means you get 100% in the song and never break your notestreak.
Your notestreak at the end of the song has to be the same as the amount of notes in the song.
(meaning you hit 100% of the notes without overstrumming or overhitting)
FC stands for "Full Combo", meaning that you play:
-every note perfectly
-no added notes
-no missed notes
@ItzClobert then how come there's a section fc of the rolls
so, the ones that have yet to be FC'd, must be a reason why right?
so why are they further down the list than ones that HAVE been FC'd?
@B3rz3rk3r using the overdrive fill section to cover up a hard part
@Peterskoett
was it? i saw it a while ago and i think its real...he is a pretty good drummer from what i can renember
if theres a ridiculously hard part in a song, theres usually a way to replace said part with an overdrive fill, which is bootlegging
1-Tool's Rosetta Stoned; 2-Tool's Ticks and Leeches; 3-Sepultura's Ratamahatta (2 Meter Session); 4-ZUN's Hartmann's Youkai Girl; 5-Nobuo Uematsu's Dancing Mad; 6-Gojira's Art of Dying; Spawn of Possession's Apparition
Any song with gravity blasts has to be on there (your treachery will die with you) simply because I don't think any gravity blast sections can even be hit with even the best of kits.
Why no arguments on "What a horrible night to have a curse" ??
why is the video faded in at 0:12 ? it looks fake, just saying...
@AtheneWon360 There's no way of watching the videos of some of them, because they don't exist any more, if they ever did. HomelessCarl/CorruptedHomeless's account was closed before this video was made (if memory serves), for example.
Up, down. Up, down.
WHY does the crowd meter go that way?
Why isn't "The Legend of the Rent is Way Hardcore" by Here Comes The Kraken on this list?
on first one..... was neil peart playing?
Was the Unfurling A Darkned Gospel video recorded from my channel? it looks hella alot like my video haha! and nice video man :)
@afterlife4563SH it isn't broken, its a polyrhythm
In the comment before this one, I meant #15 (NOT 16)
how did you get spining wheel at the 7th hardest song
Arsis was in Rock Band? lol I thought they were extremely obscure.
the first fc for This is Exile was uploaded by iHomerx360a on april 12 2012.
@MyCoolboy17 I've seen a FC of the drum solo before. There's a video on youtube of it.
also the first drum Fc for Camera eye was uploaded by iHomerx360a on June 5, 2012
I wonder if there's a non-death metal list of hard drum tracks. Such a filter would be quite popular.
Can someone please explain to me what bootlegging is? I mean, I know most lingo and I used to be a big rock band fan but I don't understand what bootlegging is. Thanks!
Congratz, have that invisible medal!
So why you say FC in ur video when that person IS missing notes? For example number 23.
@thisdude47 You're misinformed. He had the first section FC, but he never actually got the whole song I believe.
I was so happy with my 97% Chop Suey on hard mode..
13:07 why does he have two eye colors? Who is he? David bowie?
In my head, I translated the singing of most of these songs to: "Worrggaeaggaragrawtargargargaroragrarrrrr"
It says in the video description that the user made the list in about 5 minutes, so I suppose he took the first video of every song in the list he found instead of looking for the fc...
That's what I think lol
About #17:
Your crowd meter stayed in the yellow during overdrive.
By bootlegged do you mean using unofficial drums or modding the official ones?
Keeping a drum fill over a difficult part to avoid missing
what do u mean when u say a song has yet to be fc'ed with out bootleging
ive fc'ed all the song but guns of summer -_- odd right?!
What I'm gathering from this is that music that sucks is the hardest kind of music to play.
Just here for these men's total strong calves.
I thought Cookie Monster was doing vocals for the half of these songs
No 3rd Stone From the Sun?
I agree completely with you, but the hardest song he even got to GS (not that he hasn't FC'ed a bunch of songs) is Creatures ov Deception. That is not extremely diffucult to pass or get 4 or 5 stars. But you gotta give him credit for GSing it. :D
Yeah, I definitely shouldn't have put Bled To Be Free in. Way harder songs than that.
@Mastersturm Well songs with one drum beat are fun to play because well, they have one beat.
Songs like Modern Mathematics, We are the Nightmare etc. etc. are some of the most varied and unique songs in all of Rock Band.
Now who's the one making no sense?
P.S. @CaptainHollyShort Pay attention to the charting of the reds at the beginning of the song, they don't line up with the bass hits making it the ultimate test of high speed limb independence.
are these dlc or custom songs
About all of those songs have been put up on youtubefcd, and since you put who fcd the songs why didnt you put the fc video, instead of this?
Bootleg means what in this context? I'm kind of new to competitive rhythm gaming.
Not using a drum power-up in order to skip a very hard part (as drum fills cut out parts of the chart).
Not FC'd (yet...)
yeah, they're all waiting for me to own them xD
Also, what does "bootlegging" mean?
I don't know 'cause I'm a complete noob, I know, and thank you
Bootleg means using an overdrive freestyle fill to intentionally skip a hard fill in the song in order to get the FC.
"Your Teachery Will Die With You" will never be fc'ed...
Now it has lol
4:08 i shit my pants.
