Hi! Just wanna ask why did you use blue for the shadows rather than black or gray?

Hi! thanks for the question. actually in reality the shadows appear bluish or Purpelish. imitating this in rendering brings in more realism and different outlook to the rendering. Most of us use blacks and greys, doing blue gives a cooler temperature.

This is lovely! I'm a landscape architect student learning to render with watercolors, but the pens I use for the lines bleed a bit in the water. Did you just use sharpie pens for your linework?

Thanks for liking my work. Use waterproof pigment liners for inking. It will not bleed.
