Spider plants are great beginner plants for anyone who has never taken care of plants before. The problem is their signature is to outgrow their pots faster than you can repot them. I had spider plants for years. They were large, impressive with pups dangling down, a real center of attention plant. The problem was, they became pot bound so quickly, with roots coming out the bottom. When I tipped them out of the pot, they seem to have "eaten the soil" so that's why when watered the leaves where still limp. The plant was heavy and I had to stop hanging it and started placing it on a table as a center piece. I even had one plant crack a plastic pot the roots were so thick and tangled. I never put spider plants in terra cotta pots because of the weight and the soil drying out extra fast. Also, I used to cut off the pups and propagate them in water, which was super fast, then I would plant them in soil. I had plants everywhere!!😆 I gave up on those spider rascals. I wouldn't accept one for free. The one Brittany has should last in the new pot for another year because it is small, slender and perhaps not so soil and water greedy. But for me and my plant family, we'll take a pass. Good luck to anyone who takes one into their plant family!!!🤣🤣🤣
I must be a bad plant mom. I wait 'til my spider plants are rootbound to the point where you can't see the soil at the bottom of the pot. I've never had an issue so I can't be that bad of a mom...lol.

Spider plants have massive roots, oh you can go bigger than that ! They do kind of look like worms.😂
My mom’s spiders love being root bound. I’ve tried to love them but just can’t 😂
I get it lol
I so enjoy a beautiful spider plant and for some reason I cannot take care of them after about 2 months. Yours looks really good.
It happens to the best of us. I'll have a plant that seems really healthy and then it suddenly take a turn.

If it ain't broke don't fix it! I usually don't bother my plants until I absolutely have to 🪴
Mine died after repot. I don’t know what I did wrong. The first repot went well😥
🙁
nice demo
Thanks!🪴
