I faced the same thing with the Zebronics wireless keyboard mouse. Which I ordered for temporary use. The box and keyboard were damaged, we should consider this thing while choosing cheap products even if it is not our primary one.

Ups won't really be helpful for back up. Expect less than 15 minutes for 360watt ups if under low load. Don't expect atleast 2 min backup while gaming if u have a GPU.

Don't use UPS for backup invest in a good Full sin wave inverter and atleast 150 VA tall tubalar battery
