I know this is an old video but I was able to remove mine with no heat or drill. I rocked this tip back and forth having the pin facing the ground until the top of the pin was protruding the surface of the tip. I then pulled it out with my finger nails. Great video though
Thanks for watching. This video still gets viewed regularly, so comments are still valid. I'm glad that worked for you, but I didn't want to crank on my gun barrel enough to loosen it up. The lighter was not enough heat to change anything but the plastic. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe, and follow. You know the routine!
I'm really glad you liked it. I hope it helped you to get that stock tip off your gun. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe, and follow. You know the routine.
Very well done! I think I will use this for my AUG (that is if I can buy one)! Although I believe that using hot water also might work, but I have never tried, so this will definitely be the back up!! Thank you!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!
I have heard about the boiling water also. Try whatever you are comfortable with. The lighter was quick and easy.. Thanks for watching, commenting, and being an active subscriber!
Hey, thanks for watching. I think you should be able to warm up the tip a little, and dig out that pin. It will ruin the tip, but I think it should come off. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe, and follow. You know the routine!
Thanks for watching. Yes, my tracer came with the adapter. The tracer either needs an adapter, or to have female threads because the end of the barrel will have male threads.
Thanks for watching. I have had a lot of people have problems getting the shroud off. I made a follow up video to this one. Did you watch it? It might be more helpful. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe, and follow. You know the routine!
Cool, thanks for watching! I posted some gameplay from a local field yesterday. Go to my airsoft Playlist and you will find it. Thanks again, and I hope you liked, shared, subscribed, and followed. You know the routine!
Hey, thanks for watching! Sorry that I lost that part of the video. I used a 2.5mm Allen wrench to remove the two screws that hold the shroud on. I hope this helps. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe, and follow. You know the routine!

Thanks for watching! I used a 2.5mm Allen wrench. They should come right out. There is a small plate on the backside that they screw into. Let me know if this helps, and don't forget to like, share, subscribe, and follow. You know the routine!
Hey guys, I'm sorry. Did you pull the little plate off of the backside behind the screws? You can see it laying on the table early in my video, and then you can see me put it back on later in the video. Let me know if this helps.
Yea I just bought a spitfire tracer and I'm having the same problem I wiggle and nothing happens and I took everything off my gun completely so plz help haha
Hey, I'm sorry that I missed your comment. I've had a lot of people have issues getting the shroud off. I'll make another video showing how I get the shroud off. Thanks for watching.
I followed this method on my G&G ARP-9 and it worked successfully. I believe this method should be applicable to all G&G products.

Thanks for watching. Yes, my tracer came with the adapter. The tracer either needs an adapter, or to have female threads because the end of the barrel will have male threads.

Can I get the link or the name or the tracer? I know it’s acetech but i wanna know the model of iy
I bought it from a guy, and he got it from an airsoft field. But I can look. Yes it did come with the adapter.
Why does my handgaurd not come off it is so hard to take it off and how do you do it so easy

@@TheDadofAllTrades thank got one off by hand but can't get the other off might have to us a drill or something
@@traffic2253 maybe pliers if you don't have a metric set of Allen wrenches.
Bro I did it that with my fingers with the barrel on
Thanks for watching. What were you able to do with you fingers with the barrel on?
@@TheDadofAllTrades remove the tip
Lmao my threads came off. Welp.
Which threads?
@@TheDadofAllTrades took all of em but the first 4
Off of the gun? I don't see how the plastic tip could do this. Dang.
@@TheDadofAllTrades the metal pin didn’t get drilled through because it was at a weird angle and took out the threads
ive been little wiggling for ages wtf man
If you remove the two screws, it shouldn't wiggle much before you're able to pull the shroud off.
Same and i have the full metal version so it destroys my hands

Does the adapter come with it?
I looked online for the tracer, and ended up on Amazon. They have tons of acetech tracers.
