just looked up the archeologist couple in the video, they eventually drained it and it turned out to be a mass grave, they are still half way through as of late 2018
That actually looks like a vaulted cistern canal to supply water to the town nearby. No carvings, no iconagraphy. The bones could be animal. Check that hypothesis please
My fisrt thought was that it's a well, the port cullis slots could merely be for slowing the rate of water but, who knows if we'll ever get an update. One things for sure though there won't be any treasure if it was a tomb because the port cullis door was already gone as was the surface cap stone that would of been there, if it was a tomb that is.
I think it's disrespectful to the dead to desecrate their resting place lf people started to dig up graves in our cemeteries there would be a outcry it's a disgraceful hobby is nothing sacred
I want scanners to get a read on the precise position of objects before people muck about down there. Now that it's known to be a tomb it may be robbed.
Fascinating, but don't they have to be cautious about animals/reptiles & poisonous gases??? I admire archeologists so much ... I could never go inside a hole that was inside a pyramid, or underwater. I'm way too claustrophobic.
Nothing like the personal touch; something you dont get from a robotic rover units camera. Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) fir a 3D mapping that silts protecting fragmentary evidence a mass suction would disturb.
Well in my country graves are opened all the time, so they can be reused. - but when they are reopened the remains are gone. .... decomposed, - so what is left is left, jewelry and such. - might as well take it out of the ground.
There is 70% Of Water only 5% I think were explored. Then The Land We living in was 30% and Yet So Many Areas Are Still Unexplored Which Means The Earth Was Really Big.
The dead don't give a fig one way or the other. Do they care when their ashes are strewn in the ocean, stream, meadow etc? They're in their peace already.
The graves in your local cemetery are likely only for use for 100 years unless, some member of your family decides to renew the lease. If the plot is needed after that time, then up you come, remains incinerated and stored elsewhere.
Why don't you just leave the pump on? Or, get two, or three pumps so you won't have to wade through that human soup? I just decided, after my entire life, waning to be an archeologist - ahhh, I don't think so.
It needs more than that - it needs a whacking great dehumidifier too to dry out all that mud which won't just expel the moisture as the water level goes down.
You can't expect an archaeological expedition to have several pieces of extremely complicated and expensive machinery, like water pumps and dehumidifiers 😉
I cant believe that an underwater tomb could be found entered right away like that. They find a tomb and just go walking into it with no prep at all. That's what I don't get. They're like amateurs with how careless they are
They almost certainly did not enter right away. You can bet that a lot of prep work was done beforehand. We are talking weeks and not minutes, as the film suggests. I suspect that the pump 'breaking down' was for dramatic effect as well.
What would expect to see in an unexplored tomb?
a reupload of this

I would sell my soul for a part 2, PLEASE TELL ME THERE IS A PART 2!!!!!
They didn't film it but they found a mass grave that is 3000 years old. It contained about 50 adults remains and 25 children remains
I'm having a ghostbump
Is it because of the curse the pump got broken ??!! And water started to rise again? 😳😳
Is there a part 2 for this? Would love to see whats in there..

Can I help with projects like this? xD I love it.
Very nice, where is the next part?
Of course the pump had to go out, and the dudes to be stuck inside under water, and Lara Croft would come to save them.
Not going to lie. I thought this was top gear for a second
Please say there is a part 2!!
That actually looks like a vaulted cistern canal to supply water to the town nearby. No carvings, no iconagraphy. The bones could be animal. Check that hypothesis please
??? after 1000s of years of water being in there all the paint and stonework would be worn down by water.
My fisrt thought was that it's a well, the port cullis slots could merely be for slowing the rate of water but, who knows if we'll ever get an update. One things for sure though there won't be any treasure if it was a tomb because the port cullis door was already gone as was the surface cap stone that would of been there, if it was a tomb that is.
bespin custom props Bombarta it was a mass grave.
I think it's disrespectful to the dead to desecrate their resting place lf people started to dig up graves in our cemeteries there would be a outcry it's a disgraceful hobby is nothing sacred
Welp there was an update and they found over 50 adults and 25 infants so your hypothesis is incorrect
Why does the host remind me of one of the pharaohs???😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🧖♂️🤣😂
😂*
How come I didn't know this existed? Or that Tony Robinson had done something on channel 5?
Hope this is on 5 catchup or something
Cómo sigue esto?!
"we let you film but you better say is 3000 years old"! :D
Is there a reupload
this world is full of mystery❤
Any part 2?
Missed July 16th special on Toposiris excavation for Cleopatra's tomb. Hope it repeats.
Brave people.
Well done !! what a great adventure + discovery !!
Did they ever get inside there? What a cliff hanger...
Make it part 2
Can we see more on demand5?
I want scanners to get a read on the precise position of objects before people muck about down there. Now that it's known to be a tomb it may be robbed.
This is just straight up a beginning scene of a movie
Where is part 2 ?
"Inside An Ancient Egyptian Underwear Tomb"... okay let me re-read this. x'D
How come channel 5 can't afford a new pump so we get so see what's inside?
I feel like they should send divers down their but it would be tough with the silt, or maybe a real pump lol
did they take samples of the water?
Swedeeen, Maria represent🤘🏻
Fascinating, but don't they have to be cautious about animals/reptiles & poisonous gases???
I admire archeologists so much ... I could never go inside a hole that was inside a pyramid, or underwater. I'm way too claustrophobic.
Maybe the stench of human rotting or disease in the water
Mummies soul be like-Da faq you doing with my stuffs🙄
i think it is equvalent to Septic Tank Before just compred Now A Days hahaha Egyptian who build that would laugh at them 😁😁
So that's what an ancient septic tank looks like!
Amazing please
2:51 Aziz, Light!
Much better, thank you aziz haha.
Fascinating video. And no cuss words in it, ideal for kids to watch!
This looks much, much older. Where are all the hieroglyphs?
Part 2 link anyone?
Flex seal patches any holes even in egyptian tombs. Imagine flex sealing a ancient tomb lol.
اين الجزء الثانى من الفيديو بعد ان قامو بشفط المياة
What is Dream doing digging up Underwater tomb 0:14
Its so scary
Ooh gold, the water pump broke, lets cut the cameras 😁
I'm hear for baldrick!
Nothing like the personal touch; something you dont get from a robotic rover units camera. Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) fir a 3D mapping that silts protecting fragmentary evidence a mass suction would disturb.
why stop the pump?
One of them broke and the chamber was being filled from some unseen underground water source.
Severe claustrophobia just watching this!😝😱
Were you as suffocated as I was?
Why cant we leave these people to rest in peace, how would we all feel if our fathers, mothers, grandparents etc were dug up ??
It would be cool
These guys were so unprepared more pumps this would be easy
Imagine these guys opening graves near you, taking out the bodies and robbing the jewelry...
1000 years from now I say go for it, what do I care lol
Well in my country graves are opened all the time, so they can be reused. - but when they are reopened the remains are gone. .... decomposed, - so what is left is left, jewelry and such. - might as well take it out of the ground.
Zactly!
I would haunt the people who touched my grave they would not be able to sleep at night
Am I the only one who sees that guy as emperor palpating? 😂
Palpatine *
I want to work with them
Why would you have a camera filming his face .
You would think Tony Robinson would have enough savvy to see through “Dr” John Ward.
I bet the Egyptian government had something to do regarding sabatoge. The pump
Surely I can’t be the only one who is seeing an alien head at 7:18 ?!
First of all my name isn’t Shirley and second aliens aren’t real.🤣🤣🤣
Would love to have been the whole time down there with them
There is 70% Of Water only 5% I think were explored. Then The Land We living in was 30% and Yet So Many Areas Are Still Unexplored Which Means The Earth Was Really Big.
I have claustrophobia😱
At what point does a human being NOT GET TO rest in PEACE
The dead don't give a fig one way or the other. Do they care when their ashes are strewn in the ocean, stream, meadow etc? They're in their peace already.
The graves in your local cemetery are likely only for use for 100 years unless, some member of your family decides to renew the lease. If the plot is needed after that time, then up you come, remains incinerated and stored elsewhere.

Did this guy say he has his diving boots on? 😂 what are those?
Why don't use a drone!?
