Wow this is the exact same leg workout I've been doing the last few months in the exact same order to . Only thing I do different is I do my leg extensions before leg press and hack squat but everything else is the same .

I had them in school which got worse over time and when i started working out just made them even worse, only answer is an op. I had the op to remove them about 12 years finally after trying to hide them and never wearing shorts. They are loads better now but have started to come back a bit lately. I think they'll get worse again over time. Only thing you can do is keep having ops or live with them. Weight training defo doesn't help and i think with all my heavy lifting is the cause of it again. Nicks are the worse that i've ever seen and he would be out of action for months recovering from an op. He will need to get them removed sooner or later. He should defo do it whilst he's still young. He will recover faster and feeling a million times better. I can't imagine how they feel cos mine felt awful and was painful at times.
I guess squats (barbell back squats) aren't necessary? Nick has built improved legs without squats it seems. I guess after a good base is built you don't need squats?
Imo, no one exercise is necessary. Any exercise for a muscle that puts it under mechanical tension, through its range of motion, will grow it when progressively overloaded. some exercises are more effective for hitting multiple muscles at once (compounds like bench, squat) but this also brings more fatigue, whereas isolation will target more-so. Both used together in a workout, typically to manage the fatigue/recovery ratio that allows the least amount of drop in performance from first to last exercise.
@@danielstacey7785 Well put. And I guess not every leg workout needs to have barbell squats. Nick seems to be exclusively working on quad sweep, so perhaps some machine work might help directly.
@@morecharacterswithamix9067 Yep at the end of the day, if an exercise is working your quads, it's working your quads. Your quads don't know what machine or exercise you're doing. Me personally, I mainly feel squats in my glutes due to my leverages, so I prefer other exercises if quads is the focus.

Having varicose veins as bad as that at such a young age can not be a good sign.
