Dang, i saw like almost none of these attacks. I kept using disorient/arcane barrage/great eagle to make it so he never got a turn. He did one beam attack and i did one space phase but I didn’t see his throne nor his other attacks cuz he legit never got a turn after a point where i got him stuck in the endless loop.
I feel like this fight was more about endurance than anything like Garland in the original Final Fantasy. Try to deal out your biggest damage but don’t prioritise it over keeping yourself alive and safe from the boss’s attacks.
Honestly this was the best fight in the game, I noticed I was shaking through most of it from pure adrenaline. It took me 45 minutes through 3 phases but this is literally the cherry on top of the cake, what a fantastic fight, I feel like I got a good mix of seeing most, if not, all of his moves while not struggling, I perfect timed 98% of my hits but did struggle with his base attack and his Maw attack timings, though those weren't that much of a problem to be honest. I did however finish the fight flawlessly with 0 downs, partly due to coming in with 8 legendary Feasts and 2 Poutine's, I ended up using about 4 feasts. I think the song does a massive part in setting the mood for this fight, especially with the crazy good tempo it keeps up throughout. TLDR; Boss good
"hard mode"? what does it refer too? i just killed him first attempt, but it was hardest battle in game without doubts. second was the B'st Area crab champion eheh
I literally put in parenthesis what I mean by hard. Dubious Dare is a relic that makes the enemies do 40% more damage, and I played 80% of the game with this relic on
@@Biobillybonez I went to that final phase 4 times before beating him. Took me almost 1 and half 😂. Such a satisfying ending. Not sure if you saw the Easter egg after the game with all 4 of the flimsy hammers in the crypt but I would highly recommend checking that out. Was really cool
actually thats the point, you are suppposed to play the long game, dont bombard him with attacks, focus on keeping your party save and prioritize healing. Then when you have a window to attack you should have ultimate combo and live mana available for boosting. Oh and obviously abuse Serai skill to delay channeling attacks, you could also put the Ring that allows the first item use on every round to not use that character turn, on Serai you can maker sure to always have MP to abuse even more.
This was my first and only fight with him so I actually don't know, I assume you need to destroy him in space battle THEN on foot to finish, but I'm not sure
@@Biobillybonez you are correct. you need to defeat him in space. had 4 space battles with him and he never died in space and he didnt die on the ground tried it today had 2 space battles and he died in space and then died on the ground 10min later. thanks for replying.
Lo mismo acá, usar esa reliquia durante todo el juego es la única manera de hacerlo un desafío entretenido. El que te quita 95% de HP es muy tedioso y se saca al final de todas maneras
Hi! 😩 I’m seriously struggling with Aephorul. No matter how many times I try, I just can’t seem to beat him. Feels like I’m stuck in an endless loop. Anyone got any tips or tricks to share? Would appreciate the help!
Prioritize defense. Delay him whenever possible. If anyone dies, revive them ASAP because you cannot afford to fall behind on the action economy. Slip in attacks where you can, especially when breaking locks.
My face when only after watching this video I realized you have a great beam attack on the shooter phase and that you could dive to dodge his purple beam attack: 🤡🤡🤡 I thought you were supposed to be defeated on that space phase when he shoot the purple beam so the regular fight resumes and you have to beat him again to get to space phase again and continue to chip away at his health bar where you left. So in the end I had to "beat" this boss 4 times until I killed his space version so that I could beat him for good one lst time when the fight resumed. Truly a tedious experience 🤡

I challenged myself to atleast not use any item so i cant just spam everything
