Great review, sadly I had to glue the face of my Pulsar the rubber part that holds it together broke,
Have yo notice the logo on his chest looks like the Super Joe logo.

The greatest enemy of hard plastics is that damned octopus from the G I Joe "Eight Ropes of Danger" set, and it always seemed to find its way to be in contact with hard to replace pieces, and usually in an area that was impossible to hide.
Pulsar is kind of an odd bird, with a human cardiovascular and pulmonary system and a computer brain. It does tick the "Golly Gee!" box for sure, but as an adult it just seems it would have been easier for Pulsar's creator to make a complete android. I'm wondering if Pulsar was inspired by the TV movie "The Questor Tapes" that was released in 1974.
Great job on the restoration, it looks like The Ultimate Man of Adventure has many years of thrilling action ahead. I like the way your disks turned out, they definitely have that "vintage" look, and Mattel came up with the idea before CDs were even a thing. It's amazing how life imitates art, or toys in this case.
All my best to you and yours, and as always, Keep Living the Adventure!

Great resto Jeff. Your discs came out great with Polloi’s decals. I’m looking to get one for myself as well, don’t have my childhood one. Is there a way to restore to blood pumping and circulation?
Thanks for the great content 👍🏻.

My Pulsar came with 3 disks when I got him in the 70s. They were made with a cheap plastic that broke very easily. All 3 of mine broke over time. They had a lenticular print of the design on them. Like the small cards you'd get from Cracker Jacks that you could twist and turn and the image would change. I used to have laminate that had the same texture. You can probably buy it if you want to give them a more accurate feel.

Hi Jeff just saw this video 👍 Another interesting one at that. I never had one of these figures but he is really cool. I did get his outfit from a friend of mine and totally forgot who it belongs to. Again great video and fantastic job on those disc's. Keep on making these . Very informative.👍🍻

You did a great job on those discs. I have to disagree about them being superior to the original ones… they had that cool 3D effect, like the Cracker Jack Buffalo pics, that were the bomb for 1976! P.S: All the discs can be stored in his head, or at the very least, two of them… Just saying as a former OG owner…🤣🤣🤣 I DO wonder if an upgrade on his limbs is possible…? Be an interesting project to get a beat up one, do some retooling on his head/torso for better neck manipulation, and finally Frankenstein some better limbs into him…🤔 I’ll let you do it Jeff! I have too many projects on the go!🤣🤣🤣✌️🤘🇨🇦

Yep. Mine would fit 2 disks but the head wouldn't close properly if I put all 3 in. My disks all snapped in 2 over time.

@@StealthMockingbird I actually have no recollection of what happened to my guy. He was mint; I know that🤣 Lost to the annuls of history, time, and brain abuse!🤣🤣🤣🤘🤘🇨🇦
