Man, those rock sliders are very cool. I really appreciate the fact that they don't interfere with the height of the base off the floor, and they look great! I'll definitely look into a set for myself.
I am having a difficult time installing them on my Touring XT. The top holes on the step could not reach high enough to reach the M6 rivets. Any help would be appreciated.
The fact that these don't require any kind of drilling and provide the same level of protection as my favorite brand of rock sliders means these are probably going to be a future purchase for me. Thanks for the upload. I found it pretty helpful.
Do you know if a fixed where the rock slider goes behind the front wheel where you had to zip tie if they fixed that yet so you don't have to do that zip tie.
UA-cam quality videos. Thank you so much for your info I went to the website. It's not clear to me. The year of the car. They showed an old car on the webpage. Do you know the part number for the twenty twenty two subaru outback, thanks.
No. And actually after my video AFE has made brackets for thr mudflaps and I believe it will be included in the future orders. They also sent me one so I'll be making a follow up video of that soon.
If you're talking about Nate of nomad. Adventure rig shop, those are different. They don't have the flat stepping area. They only have the round tubing. There's a space between the round tube in the rocker panel. They do cover the pinch wealth underneath. But it was a gap

Thanks brotha! 😊 I think it's the best designed slider on the market and it fits very well for the first batch!
Awesome video, thanks, Brian! We recently put ours to the test on some challenging trails. The video is coming shortly!
Thanks for providing us with a great product and options and can't wait for the test video!

Awesome video! I wish they would make one for the Forester SH model.
That would be cool!

Thank you!
Where did you get your brake and gas aluminum pedals ?
it came with the car
Looking to pick up a pair for 4th of July! How much does each rock slider weight? Im curious to see how much weight it adds to the car, thanks!
I didn't weigh them before installing, but if I had to guess, maybe 30 pounds each..?
@@ChasingAdventuresCO awesome, thanks so much, that definitely helps! Keep posting ! Loving the channel
Thank you very much!!
Thats cool
Thanks!
They need to fix the mud flap connection point problem. I won’t zip tie my mud flap.
they have and I will be making a review video of that shortly.
Do you know if a fixed where the rock slider goes behind the front wheel where you had to zip tie if they fixed that yet so you don't have to do that zip tie.
yes, they have a fix for it and came up with a bracket. I will be making a short follow-up video of that soon.

afepower.com/afe-power-79-27003-afe-power-terra-guard-off-road-sliders
The link is the correct one for our OBW
So these rock sliders wouldn't have a problem with the stock wilderness without the mud flap. Thanks for your videos they're great
@@mikedavies4642 not at all and since my review, they actually made a bracket for the mud flaps, and will be included
Do you find a difference in black vs white color in high heat?
Is the black really hot even after the ceramic tint?
black does heat up more compare to white but it's not much of a difference and the ceramic tint really does help. its day and night difference.
Can these be put on a Subaru Outback Premium?
I think it will work on all outbacks. but to be sure, you could contact aFe Powers.
Does this get in the way of your mud flaps?
No. And actually after my video AFE has made brackets for thr mudflaps and I believe it will be included in the future orders. They also sent me one so I'll be making a follow up video of that soon.
@@ChasingAdventuresCO thank you!🙏
Ca tuned has the same product 😮

@@mikedavies4642 do these also cover the pinch weld
They are similar but two very different sliders
Yes these do cover the pinch weld!
it is kinda crazy how two diff companies came out with super similar designs what seemed like a few weeks apart from each other lol
Clearly the mudflaps were not a consideration in the design
Normally, most rock sliders don't.
Does anyone have advice. On how to get the mud flaps on. Do you have to trim them?
Great video again bro👍
Thanks bro!
