Searched free Jacob Chansley and got you to my pleasure very well stated if we don't stand up for this guy we don't deserve our freedom lets make Jacob Chansley so rich he becomes as influential as you are destined to B
It’s highly questionable that he got a fair trial, I have a lot doubts to legitimacy of his detainment. However he was convicted for Obstructing an official proceeding. That is a very broad, untested charge.
Yes and to be clear I am fine with charging people for trespassing or obstructing an official proceeding if it is equally applied (which it is not) and if the punishment does not fit the crime. In this case, solitary confinement (!) and four years in prison is obviously grossly and manifestly disproportionate to the alleged crime. For a crime like that, try four weeks in a jail, max, and even then, that would be too harsh, as the cops escorted him right through and were clearly encouraging him.

free this political prisoners!
Wild that we have actual political prisoners in the United States today.
The video shows him being escorted around while already in the building but did he he enter the building unlawfully?
He walked through the front door of the Capitol building after someone had busted the door open. He didn't damage any property, though others did.
Of course youtube throttles this video.
