Welcome to a lively Moving Day video ! this is an important part of enrichment for these Lions and gives a new stimulus in a different environment. It can be tricky with the dynamic of which Lions go near each other as not all get along harmoniously. The moving is not always easy and some need a bit of encouragement. George and I have worked on this as a team for a long while. Thank you for the support each week it really helps ! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and i do try to answer some in the videos as well.

Vayetse and Ginny are happy to see Kevin and go on an adventure, Vayetse is soo cute rolling on his back to get rubs. OMG, the overwhelming joy Bobcat and Gabby have for Kevin, what love. Bobcat and Gabby are thinking, we're ready to see a new enclosure! And yet, sweethearts Meg and Gabby both wanted to spend more time with Kevin, awww! 🥰😍🦁❤❣

Sad that their are those who can not see the beauty in these videos and the kindness and help these wonderful lions get.
Often if they just left to roam, in the wild, they get killed by savage people who have no respect for them. They even killed some on a reserve outside of Johannesburg. Near Kyalami area. I have spent many years going to the game parks to view them in their natural habitat. I so miss that. So I am glad I found this channel. Thank you for people like him that take care of them. ❤️🐾❤️
Kevin, I’m so sorry for the ridiculous comments. It’s obviously people that know nothing about you and your work. Some people are just too stupid to insult. They have no idea how hard you’ve worked and your dedication to wildlife. I watch a few other channels dealing with wild animals and they too get their share of asinine comments. Please ignore them and know how much your followers love and appreciate everything you do. I am a HUGE animal lover as I know you are. Thank you again for all your hard work. @@RL- True. One of the channels I watch is Orphaned Wildlife Center. They have rescued orphaned bear cubs and hand raised them. One comment was how cruel the bears were being treated because they were so big and heavy and their claws were so long. 😂 I responded and tried to calm their fears but not sure if I was successful. I’ve also had arguments with people that try to say these animals in sanctuaries are tame. Sometimes I just give up arguing and tell them to read a book or do some research.

I find it funny when I come across comments on social media - usually someone has taken a tiny clip and reposted it without any context. I was in the U.S. Air Force for 31 years and endured 14 moves and 11 deployments. Kevin, your lions seem much more happy with their moves than I was with mine. Thanks for all you do sir.

As the outsider looking/listening in, Bobcat's noises sounds as if he is ready to consume you. But, he consumes Kevin with appreciation and gratitude. So heartwarming. Also appreciated Kevin's explanation of his reality of dealing with and being ever mindful that the lions are wild animals.

When I came across this channel last year I ended up binge watching a massive bunch of your past videos... I was initially sceptical but soon realised that your work is possibly the most respectful, wisdom-filled, awe-inspiring work with animals I've ever seen. I've seen other channels that "work" with lions and comparatively speaking - it's evident they do not hold the same wisdom and understanding you do Kevin.

I love how you see the different personalities of the lions during moving day. With Icky, he was more prim and proper, waiting patiently, as if to say, "Oh it's moving day? Why thank you Kev!". With Vayetse, he shows his excitement by flopping down and rolling, while Ginny looks on as if to say, "You're embarrassing me, get up so we can go!" With Bobcat, he roars out his excitement..."time to move, time to move!". And the girls are just precious. Love them all!

Been watching Keven taking care of the wild lives for decades, there will always be new viewers who have no clue of how preservation works. Keven definitely knows what he is doing and the boundary between humans and wild animals, plus knowing each temperament. Those who are bitter might even have a higher chance of encountering a car crash.
