I just had A Genius Two for One Trap idea! So, you set up a Sand trap with Signs, have a Pressure plate that activates a piston, which breaks a sign, and sets the Sand trap off, and drops them into lava as well. You actually don't need the pressure plate piston combo, because the lava will set a Sign on fire because they are wood, and set off the Sand trap on a quite long Delay, because one of the Signs will take a bit to burn, so it basically sets itself off, without even needing Redstone or Anything.
